MOBY GOES TO TURKEY. A tam and pups adventure.

Oh she knows she's to go outside. Last night it was just because she was more interested in the bits of bark and plants on the ground instead of focusing on doing the loo.

Fortunately for puppies they've a knack to not staying in the bad books long as they just cuddle you to death.


But this is why I don't like parking up next to a load of other campers . Because last pees at midnight and early pees sometimes at 7.30am can be a nightmare with multiple dogs and they're bound to hear me repeating "stop feckin eating and just pee" or calling ela 100 times before the bugger comes in lol.


It's no all sunshine and roses 🤣🤣

Are you training her with a trigger word for going to the toilet? That's what I did and was recommended by trainer. it helps them remember what is expected and is useful when adult when you need to get them to go on command. I used 'toilet' Say the word when they start to pee or poo and then praise them immediately then they associate the word with the act eventually

Aye the trigger word is "go pee" but like ela was she's too busy scavenging at times . And it's worse if there's other campers and people around as too many distractions . She's been fine the other nights it's just a learning curve
 
Pleased our daughters dogs not like that, when she stays with us she has her last wee 8 or 9pm and quite happy not to go out again until 10 or 11 the next morning.

So she's in my bad books .

I’ve heard that it happens as you get older too 🤭
 
I don't allow wandering around at 'last pee/poo' time. Stand in one spot, shortish lead so doggo can't go far. She starts to go in circles, 'good girl' say your command word a few times. Roly soon picked this up at age 5, she tries to pull but I don't budge.
Harder if you've got, let's say, 4 dogs. You know all this will soon be just a memory.

Jade is like that , and ela could manage if she wanted too. Milo was normally the only one who went out last thing but the pup needs to as she can't hold it that long.
 
The poodle x can go 12 hrs without doing any thing, never soiled in the house even as a pup, she has better bladder control than the Mrs😂😂😂😂😂

It must be a be poodle thing! Our young cockerpoo can seem to hold on for 10 or 12 hours much to my amazement! ( and worry initially).
He is also a bit like a camel, he will drink for Wales and then not drink again for what seems like forever! 🤭

My Labradoodle was the same we would go to bed at 8 in the evening and he would not move until sometimes 10 in the morning(y)

There's plenty stations have it , price varies between €0.89 and €1.20 depending where you are.

I have been refused it at a few places though, the usual it's just for cars nonsense. But always another place available.
 
Bit of a mix n match day today.
We left thermoplye around 9.30am , putting meteora in the satnav with no tolls was showing over 5 hours driving which I wasn't up for so I thought I'd use the toll road as it was under 2 hours , gets on the toll road and after about 15 bleeding miles the road was shut , diverted off the motorway and left in limbo with no diversion signs so I was back to the Normal roads with low speed limits, came through one town and some old geezer decided to abandon his pick up on the road opposite a pharmacy.. my rh mirror met his with a very loud wallop ... police just up ahead In a layby doing stop checks so I pulled in there , old guy pulls in with his pickup , didn't speak a word of English, his mirror is in bits , mine is bent back, glass OK but the arm is damaged. So old geezer goes marching up to the cops , they come back demand my license, insurance, v5 etc , they're all talking back in forth in Greek I haven't a clue what's going on , cop leaves my v5 and insurance on the bonnet of one cop car and walks off with my licence to the other ... guy with truck is on the phone ranting to someone , wind blows my papers over the road so I've gotta go running after them ... then another car pulls up and a young guy gets out , he joins in the greek discussion... all the while I'm thinking this isn't going well I've no idea what's been said and thinking there goes my bleeding ncb, the cop cokes back with my license and asks did I not see the truck, I said sure I saw it but he abandoned it with no warning , I swung out to pass him but narrow road and other vehicles coming the other way so I obviously didn't swing out far enough ... there's a solid white line right up the road you're not meant to cross etc ... he goes back to loud Greek with the 2 other cops the old guy and the young guy who turned out to be his son..... then the young guy says its OK we fix it ourself . So long story short after about 20 minutes of back n forth the police told me to go .. .

Then I had another 40 minutes of narrow windy road before I came back to another toll road ... decided to take that as I was well pissed off by that point. An hour and 30 minutes of toll road cost me €16

That'll be the last one lol .

But it got me to meteora for lunch time


And what can I say , meteora is pretty special, what a fantastic place . 22° today aswell so it was lovely .

Parked up overnight on a quiet road further up from the monestaries, guy here with a 4x4 he has made in to a camping car, he's from Afghanistan originally but been living in crete the last 6 years , speaks good English so we had a chat for a while before the shepherd turned up with 200 goats and 6 dogs ...so I had to put my lot in the camper as the dogs were going crazy....blue found her bark again and was going nuts in the van lol.
