I reckon that the side extensions will be damaged at some stage. I would imagine I would forget they were there at some point during my travels and catch them, even if only slight. Good luck

I was thinking the same. Also, I suppose it would be difficult to get them to look like they were meant to be part of the van. I’ve not seen any in person but I’ve seen similar sold as a part made for sprinters and they looked like they might look good.

Yeah im not sure my skill level or equipment is up to making them more sleek looking. So i might just leave it as standard...to be honest its about 190cm wide after insulation and panelling anyway

I was thinking it’s a big van so I’m sure you will make everything fit fine.

They would be narrower than the door mirrors so I don't see a problem.

You'd be amazed at how quickly that space goes though. Its longer than the hymer yet im still trying to figure out where everything will go. It will be easier to plan once i have a floor in again then i can mark out the floorplan with tape etc
But im a while away from that yet.

Half the price of some I looked at, didn't dare mention those to a tight Scot.
Lol ..not tight just a choice of paying a grand or so or making them myself for a couple of hundred.

Will be the last windows i do anyway as im starting from the front so ill see how it goes.

True! We ended up changing our plans once we marked it out and made furniture out of cardboard  with you full timing in it too you will have more to go in, although it’s a bigger van.

To be honest they look better in the photos than real life at present but its just to stop them rusting while i plate up the windows etc.
