Rally Chat Lymington Seafood Festival, Golf, Beaulieu Motor Museum, Isle Of Wight (& More!) Rally August 2018

Been sat in the library for an hour ... the form hasn't come through. It isn't in span or junk mail ... can someone please advise as there is a queue ... thank you.
Joy - I'll send it again now (y) Will PM you too.

UPDATE INFO.

Dogs must be on a lead in the rally field (even in the unmown area) but can be walked & off the lead in the next field - there will be a mown path right around it and giving access to the seashore.

For walkers - from the field there is a 3 hour circular walk that goes along the seashore east, then north up Tanners lane with maybe a stop in the East End Arms Pub :drinks: http://www.eastendarms.co.uk/ then back west through Pylewell Park, past the cricket pitch and back to the field.

Joy, @movan - if you need me to pay the deposit for you just jet he know. I recall you have had problems in the past with making PayPal payments.

Thanks Cal .. I might take you up on that. I think the form has gone now as was in library for a good few hours trying to sort stuff out ... Really grateful. X

I'm online tonight & first thing tomorrow morning but after that getting organised for trip to see all the shiny new toys at the NEC Show :inlove: so all queries & bookings will be dealt with in the order they are received on our return so you may not get a reply until Monday 23rd. This rally is still currently open for bookings but getting full!

Thank you - will try :) Unlikely we will buy there as our first choice won't be there :( but we said that four years ago & we did! Will have a good look around with an open mind. So much temptation there...

@movan - Joy, I will process the £10 in the morning.

EDIT: Joy I have just processed the deposit payment for you.

Thank you both - list updated :)

Wow again! :dance2: Now 73 pitches booking form received, checked & deposit paid.
Currently 10 more have paid the deposit & not returned the form yet or have sent the form but not paid - all contacted & in progress. If all complete & allowing for the pitches for marshals then that will be 88 pitches out of 90 taken!
If anyone does want to book then please PM with email address for the booking form & I will process each booking (in order of receipt) from next Monday onwards. So far we have had less RVs book than initially expressed an interest so that might mean more than 90 pitches but we need to check all the bookings & motorhome sizes & work it out. We have had quite a bit of practise doing this with our Meets this year so don't worry even if we do increase numbers you will still have the correct amount of space to meet Fun rally rules.

I know there are lots of group activities proposed but in case you want to do your own thing it is easy enough to get around on the train (change at Brockenhurst) or local buses, boat trips from the harbour or the hop on hop off buses

On Saturdays they also have a market which runs the whole length of the high street.

Hi Wombles, tried to private message you regarding payment of deposit for Lymington but don't know if I did it right and you received message. I am not a very techi person.

Do you know if the campsite is far from the festival, is it walking distance?

Hi Dave
I am thanks.
I walked it last week.
Campsite to the harbour/town is about 20 mins as you have to cross the river via the road bridge.
Walk to the station from the campsite is about 5 mins. 2 mins on the train to the harbour/town. £2.30 & they take dogs.
Walking to the festival is about 10/15 mins past the harbour/town (next to the Yacht club)

It was nice to see you both v briefly @Wombles

That's 82 pitches booking form received, checked & deposit paid.
Currently 4 more in progress. If all complete & allowing for the pitches for marshals then that will be all pitches taken! However we will now be checking the pitch sizes needed for all those booked & may be able to increase this number so if anyone does want to book then still please PM with email address for the booking form & I will let you know whether to book or put you on the Reserve List.
As mentioned before we have had quite a bit of practise doing this with our Meets this year so don't worry even if we do increase numbers you will still have the correct amount of space to meet Fun/RVOC rally rules (y)
