Rally Chat Lymington Seafood Festival, Golf, Beaulieu Motor Museum, Isle Of Wight (& More!) Rally August 2018

Provisional dates for Lymington Seafood Festival 2019 are 10 & 11 August so Rally likely to be arrivals day 9 August for 5 nights - these dates are the most likely but are yet to be confirmed as Festival dates depend on when other events are on in that area so a slight possibility that they could change but will post new thread once definite.

May be adding archery & air gun range locally to list of possible activities for 2019 Rally :Grin:

Thank you for all your messages asking about when the list & booking starts for next year at Lymington - we have to wait for the Seafood Festival organisers to return from their break & to complete checks with their local council before the date is definite but, as mentioned before, suggest pencilling in 9th August for 5 nights subject to confirmation.
Will be great to see those coming along again, anyone who missed out this year & to hopefully welcome some more members new to rallies again :hi: :hi:
 
Thank you again for all your messages & queries - hopefully we should be able to confirm dates for Lymington Rally 2019 soon & open bookings for Fun & RVOC :) The date to pencil in for your diaries is still 9th August for 5 nights.
We will alert everyone that booked this year via the booking thread once it has been posted on the forums.

This rally seems so long ago?

When we were at Lymington we raised (through fair means and foul) the remarkable sum of £318.00 for the benefit of Prostate Cancer UK.

It's taken me a while to be able to report on here the receipt of the monies as we got sidetracked away from our holiday to do nursing duties in Stafford. For the delay, I apologize.

It will be seen from the letter received from the charity that the monies received by them would seem to be inexcess to the monies sent which were raised at this particular rally.

This is because, despite me sending three separate letters from the three events of Lymington (£318) Malvern (£28.04) and Pershore (£105.70) Prostate Cancer UK sent me just one letter back, amalgamating the three sums into one final total.

In addition to the letter received, I post on each of the respective rally threads my letter to them which accompanied the cheque.
