Lenny's off again Germany, then wherever

10 min walk up the road today to the Open Air Museum, it's like the Weald & Downland museum except it was only €5 to get in.

It were a bit busy turned out it was "Museumfest" an annual event had a big craft/local produce marker, bands playing.
Weather was good and we had a good time, spent 6½ hours there.

And of course there were beer and food stalls everywhere, that's if you count Bratwurst as food.

So when in Germany..........

Besides pickled chillies there is one other thing the Germans do well "CAKE".

It is hard to deny the Germans both take their kuchen (cake) seriously and do it well. I enjoyed going to the cafes when I lived there where you pointed out the slice of cake you wanted, ordered your drink, invariably hot chocolate for us, and then you sat at a table and they brought it to you. Happy days! :)

It was kaffee, kuchen und schnapps when I was working in Berlin. Mid December under the patio heaters at the cafes on the Ku’damm, with a blanket over your legs if it was particularly cold.

Great beer in Bamberg and a good Portuguese restaurant (few years ago) plus the Schnitzel Museum 😉😒🙄

Cheers🍻

I actually like schnitzel, you suvverners have no taste. 😎
It's edible, just about but when you go out for a meal and have a choice of, Schnitzel, Schnitzel, Schnitzel, or Schnitzel covered in a tinned sauce it's a bit much.

Lenny don't rise to the bait, should that Carthago A class parked beside you say the wrong thing, like mine came on time, they even threw in some free cushions to the deal.;)
Happy Travels.(y)
