Lenny's off again Germany, then wherever

Supposed to be 21 tomorrow getting up to 24 by Wednesday, still flipping cold for me.
The weather's a bit weird. The UK is being battered by the remains of a hurricane this weekend but in mainland western Europe things are settled, or whatever the meteological phrase is. :)

I'll settle for 30+ not much hope at the moment. 😭

Over 20 here in north Wales today and the sun was really warm along the beach front at Aberystwyth, bit of a storm tomorrow though…☀️

On the way back the heavens opened a big thunderstorm, really heavy rain that hurt.
We can't remember the last time we got this wet, soaked right though to the skin, had to strip every item of clothing.
And now it's back to brilliant sunshine.

Now supping a beer, G&T to follow. :giggle:

Ok I am going to be embarrassed and I could google this . What is a Schnitzel?
Pork or Turkey thin steaks, mix a couple of eggs with some herbs, pepper, sage, dip the steaks in the mix, cover them with breadcrumbs and fry in hot oil until golden brown each side.
If it’s chewy and soft you’ve done it wrong 😄
And if you’re accompanied chips are soggy you’ve done them wrong too.

I’m just having a read of this thread, keep the Schnitzel posts coming, our favourite grub.
We make it with both pork and Turkey, we have with jacket taty, chips, rice, roast taties.
Jesus, no hope for you, next you will be saying you like Sauerkraut.

Sauerkraut - really good for the gut. But you've already told me I've no hope....

Also try Jägerschnitzel & Zigeunerschnitzel (sorry Lenny)

I really thought the good old ever ready, 365 day, Lenny Special, Hymer hob top, Tortilla, would have been on a plate by now.;)
Its what, along with cold roast Chicken & Home Cooked Gammon Joint gets put in the FF as we leave home. The beauty of The Tortilla is its easy to make on the hob, you can vary the ingredients, and its always a useful "Grabbit" with a cup of tea on a lunch stop. Posh versions come with salad, or micro leaves on the side, and some garlic bread or Ciabatta. (y)

Lovin your travels as usual Lenny, hope the weather is kinder to you, we are supposed to be getting another freak warm weather week in The UK, the back end of September, if you can believe the weather people.

Last time I had a Jagerschnitzel the menu said with fresh mushrooms, they may have been fresh before they were canned a year or two ago.
