Forgot to mention stopped in Wasserbillig in Luxembourg right on the boarder with Germany, for lunch.
The Luxoil gas station had an Aire and servicing behind it, free if you bought fuel. Superb service facilities and topped up with 70 Lt at €1.69.

You’re just a mere amateur dad, you’re supposed to fill up an empty tank, not 3/4!!
I filled up in Luxembourg in June, I put 88.60 litres in (90 Lt tank) Now that’s getting the most out of the cheap diesel (yes I was crapping myself on the motorway with the needle dug in the red)

Took Jon's suavecarve advice and stopped off at Bad Sobernheim, got the feeling of de ja vu, it's where we filled up with gas yesterday about a km from where we had the bottles exchanged.

We had a bit of a wander walked around the barefoot trail (in shoes) a couple of miles had a bit of a play, found out afterwards you are supposed to pay.

Freezing cold today only 18° supposed to be a lot warmer tomorrow. I hope so I hate cold weather.

Investigated the Stellaplatz bar a choice of Schnitzel, Schnitzel, Schnitzel, burger or beetroot tart so gave that a miss.

So it was a cheese omlet with roasted veg and German style sauté potatoes.
I couldn't handle German wine two nights running so I got the Spanish red out for me.
