Very warm on the Mosel too.Meant to mention it's gradually getting warmer 25° today not too bad for nearly October in Germany but doesn't look like we are going to get proper holiday weather (30°+).
First time we went to Centre Parc, I was "intrigued" by the "slipway" incorporated in the toilet's design, a member of staff said the pots had been brought in from Germany ?The Germans take their bowels very seriously, which explains why the design of the typical toilet in Germany includes an "inspection" platform.
With this fixation in mind this tableau is not what you might think. It is three folk getting ready for thier................. enemas.

Some if the regions schools have broken up for a week plus its German unity day on Tuesday. Suspect a lot of Germans are taking a long weekend. We dont have anything booked Sunday or Monday, may end up having to do a bit of searching for free pitches on the Mosel. Trier is full atm.Rubbish day today, headed off for Bamberg, got there Stellaplatz was chocker. Spent over an hour driving around city looking at other parking places on the apps, all cars only.
So headed out for the one by the swimming pool about ¾ hour walk to town. Anyway got to the barrier but couldn't see into the parking fully so Mi got out to have a look, in the meantime cars honking me as its the same entrance to the car park. Only one space that we wouldn't fit in. So a 10 point turn and escaped.
Carried on up the road and found a small car park in the country to de-stress and have late leisurely lunch.
Then decided to drive on to Nurnberg. On a free Stellaplatz in one of the parks
may get the train to Bamberg tomorrow.
When we stayed on there a few years ago, lots of people were collecting walnuts from the trees that line the river bank just by the aire.Bit cloudy in Trier at the moment.
Stellplatz & campsite by the river both full. Apparently start of German school holidays, so everywhere likely to be busy.
It is up North Mark, all yearShorts and t shirts down South today

When we were in DE, we found bank hols were on a Thursday or a Tuesday, so a lot of people save up their TOIL and take a "bridging day" on the Friday or the Monday to make it into a 4 day weekend. We worked something like 22 minutes extra a day (or a week, can't remember now) to build the time in so we always had the bridging days off. Great system. And their productivity is still higher than the UK!!Some if the regions schools have broken up for a week plus its German unity day on Tuesday. Suspect a lot of Germans are taking a long weekend. On the train on the way back from Bamberg now.Pity you couldn't get into the Bamberg Stellplatz.
Bamberg is lovely.
We've been on the one you're on now - but about 10 years ago, so it's probably changed.
When we were there, there was a group of men living in a caravan - obviously trading in illegal substances. They had customers coming and going into the early hours.
Nuremberg is interesting, though.
Wasn’t that impressed, nice bridge and some nice building but it’s not a place to go back to i don't think……On the train on the way back from Bamberg now.
Not impressed with it I expected more as we normally like the same sort of places you do.
