Lenny's Looking for Some Sunshine

Hi Lenny, only just caught up with this thread , Montville nice aire but when we were there some little scrote pinched the badge off the back of our Bessacarr , police not interested. like you we usually stop at Bonneville nice little town .
Hope you find the sun + high temp's , safe journey ENJOY !!!

So now 11km down the road road from there at Marboue

Knowing your penchant for getting into tight stops when travelling through foreign towns.......

Dont forget to turn right from where you are now as it's a one way system (or was!!) Takes you right round the houses and back onto the N10.

Say hello to Mi from us. Enjoy your hols!!

Just to keep you lot happy.
Steak hash tonight.

That looks like a nice bottle of Merlot with your Beef burger Lenny. I too enjoy a nice Merlot and Aldi do a decent one for under £6.0. France has become so expensive now and I feel for the average French citizen, they must be going through a hard time of it.

Found a really good site for fuel prices.

Agreed, I have been using them for a few years and they seem to be quite accurate. A good App for your mobile is 1-2-3 fuel. Pity they don't do one for bars.

We've had cold nights here, in Med France, but this afternoon in Arles has been beautiful and very warm. The wind seems to have died down, it's gloriously sunny, and infinitely better than anything we had during the last six weeks in southern Spain.
We're so glad we decided to come back to France four weeks earlier than we'd planned.

Have a good trip, look forward to following your adventure. When we were in Peñíscola a few weeks ago the aire in benicarlo was still open

Lenny I did exactly the same to our toilet, I used some of that sticky duck gel toilet stuff on the rim to divert the water down.

Les Ormes Merlot around €2 a bottle here.

Les Ormes Cabernet Sauvignon is even better but getting expensive around €2.80 unless on offer but they do 5 Lt boxes.
Only a cheap wine but one of our favourites, both our girls requested it for there weddings. Their whites and Rose aren't bad either.

Have a great trip and thanks for advice re phones at port. Looking forward to guess the meal price. Which app puts coordinates in automatically pls?

Where are you off to now, Sandra??
We are making our way towards the Garome River and the Canal Lateral. Not sure what region this is but it is a little over midway between Bordeaux and Toulouse. We are with Mr and Mrs Jenben.

Been in Tarifa for a week now and the weather has been “interesting” cloudy cool and wet, high Westerly winds on Saturday changed to an Easterly gale Sunday which became a severe gale with heavy rain on Monday. Showery yesterday and plenty of rain overnight but we have sunshine this morning and weather set to warm up. 😎😎😎🍷🍷🍷

Lenny did you have to show your vax proof at the French side I thought it had all stopped now
When I came through Roscoff a week ago the French customs made a remark about not having my vaccinations printed out despite having it open on my phones wallet showing all was correct. Then made another remark about not carrying milk despite me telling him I didn’t have any and don’t drink it. Just a bit cantankerous I expect having the early shift at 6am. 😂

He probably didn’t have any milk for his cereals and was gonna confiscate yours:rofl:
