Lenny's Looking for Some Sunshine

Hate to say it but I think I’d be hot footing it to south of Spain and meandering back next month when the weather picks up🤷‍♂️

We entered France on 16th and have only today crossed into Northern Portugal having had some lovely sunny weather on the way. Although it has sometimes been quite windy it has been very hot at times, certainly into the mid-20s, I've got the red legs etc to prove it!😎. Today we've been on the beach with the dogs paddling and looking in rock pools for crabs etc, then sitting in a sheltered sunny spot sunning ourselves and going crispy.

We're in no hurry to go to the bottom of Spain as we're enjoying ourselves up here without the rain and Sahara sand. 😄
The sands all gone and today’s been the best day of the year, come on down its set to get even better.Estepona.

Managed an early start today10:15 very early for us but when without coffee so stopped after an hour to put the coffee pot on.
Absolute crap weather to start with didn't get very far only 230 km today.
Finally lost the rain at Cahors and then it started to warm up got to 21°. A bit of light rain tonight, first night we have not had the heating on.

On a nice new free Aire at Grenade 30km north of Toulouse.

We have not got "Sahara sand", that was last week, tbis week we have a covering of red mud over everything !🤣😣

Just catching up with your exploration of traditional British weather. Have decided to experience the same but waiting until June. Meanwhile, the weather here is somewhat windy but sunbathing in the garden is good except for the depleted ozone layer.
I only wish we could afford to dilly dally in France.

If you can, be sure to visit Toulouse. A thriving city, full of interest.
Thanks for the heads up I'll bank that in the memory for another trip.

Made it to Zaragoza so nice to be warm. Been in short sleeves all day, hab door still open at 10pm, wall to wall sunshine today.

Why is it Spainish marching band drummers always practice next to motorhome Aires?
