At a wild spot down by the river just outside Cuenca, about ½ hour walk to the old town.

Getting colder as we head north 25° here.

Had a chat with Tam he is a bit happier now it's all sorted.

I had a good look at that area when you last mentioned it Lenny and I’ve marked it for future visits, is it very hilly there..? Was thinking my electric trike could get around there…

I had a good look at that area when you last mentioned it Lenny and I’ve marked it for future visits, is it very hilly there..? Was thinking my electric trike could get around there…

The area with the rocks is an area you have to pay to go in most of it has good gavel paths but some areas you wouldn't be able to access.

Now at Vega del Codorno, nice free camper stop, doesn't look like it gets much use. Still up at 4500 ft.

Now the embarrassing bit, dinner. My daughter bought it for me as a joke at Christmas & Mi kept on about we should eat it. As we didn't arrive at our stop until after 7pm I relented. I had to play hunt the meat I wasn't very successful.

If you are wondering why the only veg you often see is peas, we got fed up with throwing veg away as we tend to suffer salads when it's hot.

That is one habit I have never picked up while living in Poland.

I will drink it with orange juice, a habit I picked up on long-haul flights because it tastes the same short or very long, for the liquid, unlike Scotch which is wishy-washy if too diluted.

Had a short walk up to Cueva del Nacimiento.
The main cave looked like it was used a for education etc.

But then we found this entrance which we were able to explore inside for about 100m until it started getting we under foot.

The plan was to return to the van for lunch then go for a long walk but we found the only restaurant in the village.
So after some refreshment we sat outside in the sunshine until eight o'clock.

Interesting starters, ratatouille with a fried egg & for me asparagus with mushrooms and a bit of scrambled egg.

Handy things, caves.
Olive Dewberry educated me etc. (mostly the 'etc' bits) in a cave on the chalk Downs when I was thirteen.

I see you're having another alcohol-free night with a glass of Ribena.
