Learn to crochet?

@Paul and Kate have brought some red and black, purple balls of wool that was donated from her work mates. Thankyou so much it was lovely meeting you both yesterday and I'm so glad youdecided to stay overnight x

The hookers at Old mo's will be hopefully sorting all wool out today that has been donated a big thankyou to everyone who donated wool.
We shall pass on wool and poppies to other hookers & @Puddleduck through our fantastic Funster distribution network x

Happy to make a layered felted flower. If @Ambilkate can maybe let us know Amanda's favourite colours ? Or we could go for a Bollywood look, pink, yellow, orange, light green, light blue, lilac, turquoise, side by side ?
 
Amanda loved the colour of the flowers Janine put on here that she had done for her friend And she loves spring flower colours but she will be happy whatever colour you do and SHE will be happy knowing they are from herfunster friends THANKYOU especially Carol for suggesting it XXX

The flowers with the Nine? petals are easy to do and make a change to doing poppies. I can make some but getting them to Amanda from here is the problem. Postage is sooo expensive. When would they be needed?
 
II'll definitely do some flowers for Amanda. The more variety the better I should think. I had a stripey knitted blanket from my grandma and when I was a little girl I was always picking out my favourite colours. I'm going to start now on a few yellow ones. Perfect excuse for sitting in the garden and relaxing. Thanks @Carol for the idea. Look out Kate @Ambilkate

Carol that’s a lovely idea ...I’m so sad not to be at the meet but I think the problem with the motorhomes 12 v electrics may have been trying to tell me something as I was taken ill on Thursday evening so we wouldn’t have been able to come anyway.

What is Amanda’s favourite colour I will gladly make her some crochet flowers like the ones I’ve done for my throw using @Janine ’s pattern
I’ll start her off with these 3 that I have done.

I did this flower for Amanda, hope the colours okay. It’s a lovely idea and nice to try some different designs.

3 more red poppies completed. I hope there might be someone at Lymington who will be able to pass on the poppies at a northern meet, alternatively I will of course post them but the bags getting a bit big now ;)

Hi please don't you worry bout sending any I know how expensive postage would be and know you would but honestly I'm sure there will be enough and imI hoping to learn how to do them to today I've just beenbsobbusy over the last few days I hadn't catched up with this thread. How about some 'extreme crocheting' - get a photo of you all making flowers, wherever you can. Top of a mountain, amongst the bluebells in the woods, kayaking (maybe that's a bit too extreme!) you get the idea :)

The way I’m feeling at the moment Janine the most extreme I’ll get is sat in the garden in a comfy chair:)

I'm intending to do some on the Camino Primitivo in the north of Spain but maybe in a couple of weeks time. Will deffo take some photos though .

Thankyou All for the flowers for Amanda I'm sorry if I've missed posts I have been so tired when I get to bed since being at Mo's it's then that I tend to read the threads. Amanda will love them.
We had a great day in the hookers circle yesterday, a big thankyou to Lorraine for showing us how to do the flowers.

We had the wool Paul & Kate donated plus 2big bags of multi coloured Wool from @Jaws Maureen & John.
We shared all red and black between those who are making poppies and put Joy some in her pile we spent ages rolling wool off the cones so we all had different colours to play with. Debs has got you two bags of wool Joy for you. .
 
I'll pm our address when I get chance today lol forgot who asked for it I shall have to go through last few pages again lol i Amanda to shower bacon butties to sort tidy van then shower myself. They i try to find time to go and have cuppa with Judy and Maurice by the Hut. Catch ya laters hookers xxx
