They have had a monopoly for some time and prices have risen slowly since I started using them a few years ago. In respect of club prices at home you have several wardens on sites who need to be paid. CCP sites are automated and although keep well, are not to the standard of club sites at home. Basic economics. Not wholly converted, ok for now, they have everything here and more that you could find on any club site in England for a third of the price, but how long is it going to stay at this price.
Not long after they get a monopoly of them I would say.
Btw how do the club's justify their prices compared to these?
Missed the last couple of days caught up after reading the last few posts I'm going for a long lie down.
You keep going till you physically can't Charlie yer a long time deed.I did say at the beginning this is probably the last big tour we will go on so doing the places we have been before and liked, and hopefully some we havnt done but thought we might one day.
But up to yet the years seem to have rolled back and do you know I am beginning to think where we will go next.
I did think a lot of driving would get me down but we are loving it, just like the old days.
Had a paddle in the med and a bit of dinner in a beachside hotel now Julie has gone shopping for something for tea and I having a relax with a glass of red.
Nowt wrong we Staffordshire , been all over Europe and enjoy the change but it's always nice to get back, love that sign on the m1 that says Stoke. That's great to hear chaser . Glad you've re-found your youth! I'm sitting here in Staffordshire, feeling envious.

We haven't spent as much as you might think yet £200 diesel maybe £50 tolls, two ccps,£25 and it will be £150 here so if I have forgot something say£500 not bad as hopefully that's the big money sites done now.How many tractors are you going to have to sell to fund this trip?

Still very few UK though, there was one by us this morning but they went, now there is probably 60 on here tonight and as far as I can see we are the only UK.Yep thought September was meant to be quiet but this year it’s extremely busy.

Very weird mate, on the way down through France I would say 70% of the other vans were french, but two miles over the border I would say 10% would cover it.Weird that as loads in France
