We are currently herelovely views

We Travelled down yesterday and had stopped on a Stellplatz in Donauwörth town

We parked up looking over the Danube which was nice and quiet in the Sunday eve, was woken by what must have been the loudest longest train at 3 am then the cars started turning up, and it was constant Monday morning commuters

This car park was empty on Sunday night, quite a nice wee town but avoid weekdays unless you like listening to car doors slamming

Ferry over from Crete yesterday only PLF forms to fill in, heading Patra/Bari today then Germany Vis Switzerland will update as we go along.
This maybe a good one to have as a backup if you have van problems they have a workshop. They have a free stelplatz stopping there Monday to have fridge looked at. Will update

Took a ride down to Koblenz yesterday to see the Deutsches Eck, after 5 I went for a lap of the Nurburgring. 25€ for one lap and I took it easy being a new bike. 🏍

In Baden Baden huzzah -after a bit of detour to the stellaplatz as Tom Tom took us into France and we missed the turn . 3 vans left after we arrived ( something we said?) now cycling into town to get more change as machine are the 5 euro note spat out coins So not paid12 for night. Basic place to stop but spaces / electric / dump and am opportunity to blast the fly we have been travelling with and do some shopping ...British people in auto trail arrived! First brits we have seen xx

Decided not to park in the designated spots but the overfill on the way in as no room for chairs up there.
Great company last night with RedFrame
Cheapest diesel we found at 96.9 today 4 kms from weingut.
Emptied van of bottles and got 2 euros off the beer we purchased

Looks a lot quieter than when we were there, but that was a weekend. Was at about 130% but they squeezed us in.

How do these rises in numbers reflect the return of schools. Interesting to watch this am at my village school all the parents mixing with zero masks, or social distancing.

We are now at Reil and missed JockandRita space due to Mrs sat nav wanting to take me down a lane, I ended up crossing the bridge and by the time I got back someone beat me to it.

That was before I had even rode the bike bud, it has been scrubbed in on various roads and also the Nurburgring.
It’s as they say a Beast.

Zwerichbachfalle you cant get within abou 5kms with a motor over 3 tonne
E bikes will be required or motorbike.
You can dump motorhome by bridge but its a trek on foot.
From the car park it says 1500 metres and it looks like a slope to start. It gets steep. Not insurmountable but you need a stop at the top then you see waterfall with 4 viewing areas at different levels and you forget about your legs.

Followed @MichaelIT to https://www.searchforsites.co.uk/marker.php?id=24849. Grabbed a riverside perch at 11 and has been full from 12. 2 days here and then Onto the Mosel. Love the recommendations on here - takes some of the guesswork away

Unlucky.
You couldn't have PM'd me to save it for you, as due the abysmal data signal, I've had very little internet and wouldn't have received it.

We are now at Globus, Zell, then moving on tomorrow.

Didnt have a paper round as a boy !

No wine tasting tonight as restaurant is closed and its eerily Q.
We popped down instead to the bar where we had the cheap version of wine tasting. 8 glasses of wine for the square root of diddly squat.
Then we bought a dam decent pinot grigio for 3 euros and 30 cents. Last Grigio i bought was 9 euros from the old geezer at eguisheim.
The suavecarve wine reservoir will be back to flowing tomorrow.
We havent even looked round this gaffe and already found a pool table inflateable bouncy thing cycle tracks lovely villagesvyour satnav takes you through.
Early impressions are very favourable

Through tunnel this morning and got as far as Kranenburg. Not a bad spot @ €4 for 24 hours. May spend another day tomorrow and have a bike ride - enough driving done

Full of NL plates but small town looks decent and bar was friendly. Took a photo of an image on the wall which developed into a loud shouting match between the locals as to which buildings were in the photos . WW3 on the horizon. . Not bad for being here 15 minutes.
