Yesterday I noticed a P51 over south Lincolnshire. It must have a private owner taking it home.
There has been a couple of Red Arrows about recently . There is one over Lincoln at the moment. Being single aircraft they are probably on an air test.

I've found it quite interesting watching all the activity in Ukraine and other relative countries recently. Especially as tensions are still on the rise.

We had the UK globemasters doings weapons runs, we've got the near daily recon aircraft over the Black Sea and also circling Kalingrad and now we have this thing doing what ever it does.

I can't make my mind up.... RQ 4 Global Hawk, nice looking aircraft or not?

I've often seen the following plane flying over the Black Sea. Always wondered what exactly it is doing as it looks more like a civilian aircraft. It seems to be real-time reconnaissance, more than likely keeping an eye on the Russian troop movements.

I have been watching with interest , just had 4 x F15 eagles fly over Shropshire heading for Wales , getting some low flying practice in no doubt.
They managed to scare all the birds out of the trees and got the local dogs barking, strangely one one showed up on Flightradar.

There's often only one of a group shows up in FR24, guessing its a transponder on/off thing.

Watched approx 20 take off from Lakenheath on a livestream one day last week and only a few showed up in FR24.

Just had the B52 H Stratofortress fly over Shropshire , he's down by Tewksbury as I type this.

A B52 did a 25 hour mission yesterday taking off at 2300 the day before and landing about midnight. Down the Portuguese coast, though Gib straights, down over Egypt, then Saudi, turning over Rabigh on the Red sea and the same route back.

At this moment I have a thicket of F-15 strike eagles overhead on their way back to Mildenhall for tea and medals, plus a couple of Typhoons looking like they are going to play Biggles overt Donna Nook firing range a few miles away

Keeping on the military theme, the RAF's Boeing Sentry is keeping busy up Perth way. A quick google alerts me to the fact that the fleet had been retired.
