Thought he might be spending at least one night in Edinburgh, why is he going to Belfast?

I get your point but it's hardly practical. You'd need a pretty big screen for over 100 world leaders to have a chat. I'd be pretty pissed off if our climate goals weren't reached because the Wi-Fi dropped out.

I don't like the carbon footprint of this event but if they actually achieve something this time I can live with it.

According to the Interweb, The Glasgow Herald today stated that President Biden stayed at The Dalmahoy last night. I know the area well and it doesn't surprise me. My wife now calls me Mr Marple

The grandson of a pal of mine has just started working for British Gas. He's been hotel based up at Glasgow for a few weeks (BG have a training centre nearby) They all got kicked out of the hotel last week (about 25 of them) and are having to relocate to Leicestershire for two weeks. He spoke to a member of staff, who told them it's COP related and they've kicked them out to allow 7 COP guests to take over the whole hotel !
On a side note, I mentioned job security with them winding down gas boilers and he said BG were branching out into installing EV charging points.

We have a boiler and heating maintenance contract with BG and have been getting regular emails about installing EV chargers for months.

Police and crimes commissioner for west Yorkshire buzzing Scarborough.
Must have done 30 increasing circuits before heading off towards York.
Took off from somewhere in West York's and landing at Humberside.
Can't remember make or model but twin prop engine high wing.

Can get to remote corner of county faster and stay on site for longer.
