Doc on tour, France, Spain, Morroco.

My Winnebago RV with 6ltr diesel did 8mpg. But I got a lot of nectar points. 😂
Our Forest River RV has the 6.8 V10 and doesn’t matter if we tow the trailer with the car on or without we still average 8mpg. Love the sound of the big V10, especially when I shock the car next to me at a set of traffic lights when I out pull them, mpg drops to nothing then lol.

Thankfully most of mine were diesel but still some were 1/4 mile to the gallon!
I sold a Sunseeker 72 Predator to a guy who kept it in a marina in Ibiza
He decided to take the family on a holiday trip from Ibiza to Monaco, to Cosica then on to Sardinia and back to Ibiza they spent about 5 weeks away and his diesel bill was just over €27,000k!! 🤣🤣 (they use about 80 gallons per hour) lol
Feck that

I burned off a porsche 911 and a lotos elan at the traffic lights once in an old 1.6 Ford cortina.

Truth is I was trying they weren't 😉

Probably the same in your rv 🤣

My brother was going to buy one of the Big powerful jetski things until he saw that was 12 gallons an hour.

If you're doing 48mph then that equates to 4mpg. But I guess the knowledge that it would cost one an additional say £90 per hour to use one's expensive toy could cause one to reconsider!

Then I had a lovely walk along the deserted beach and the cliffs with the dogs , found an old mosque and cemetery. Sacrificial table in the mosque where they beheaded and bled Christians for lunch ....

After drying the mutts I had a sit on the now quite busy beach to watch the fishermen and the shellfish ladies doing their stuff, some of them looked like they were getting soaked with the waves ... very calm and very tranquil .

When I say busy I mean with fisherman...I was the only person sat enjoying the peace

I then had a blether with the two brits in the other vans , geordie from devon and nige whos from yorkshire , they were asking about tagines etc so we decided to have a walk in to town to see if there were any for sale , Helen Ariel and paul popped past on their way for a walk and then we set off up to town , decided to have lunch while we were there in one of the many local cafes, selected one full of locals chilling out and had one of the best tagines ive had in Morocco, they dkd 3 sizes small for 25dh medium for 45dh or large for 60dh , we all had a medium chicken one and a huge pot . Of mint tea which was lovely...like a hot mojito...... tagines came with a full Jesus bread for each person so I was stuffed when we left ... total bill for 3 of us with a 2 litre bottle of water was 160dh.

Beach is busy again now with Fisherman and families ...I'm surprised none have been up selling fish yet but you never know ...if not I might have to get some in town.

The only time I've ever used one was in about 2007 on a river in northern Russia. It was great fun. Those things are quick! Realised I was being followed by one of our 'minders'. But after burning almost 1/2 a tank upriver and then going back to the dacha I was told that the minder was there in case I came to grief. For instance by hitting a submerged log - they use the river to float logs downstream and some remain behind

Had a colleague who lost her front teeth in Cape Town using one in the sea, so guess they are a bit dangerous.

Sounds idyllic and ridiculously cheap.

Theologically speaking, are Christians pure like cats or dirty like dogs?

19000 steps a day your going to live forever you must be as fit as a chuffing fiddle.
I have my goal set to 10000 , but my average is about 14-15000 usually .. did a bit more today though. My phone used to tell me the distance in km but can't find that now sadly

I think for someone your height it’s roughly 2000 steps to a mile, only roughly though.

Tam, you sound happier now, which is good. Is that because you're amongst other people?
I have up days and down days I guess. But this is a nicer spot for me where there are other people but it's not too busy or noisy and I like to just watch the sea etc .

Nige the Yorkshire man on left has good banter ... we've similar sense of humour where we just make fun of each other 🤣🤣 like a competition to see who can offend the other first. The younger lad geordie has had a tough few years his dad got disgnosed with cancer of the oesophagus, had chemo etc got really sick over a period of time and decided to end it himself by driving to a cliff and throwing himself off.....which sounds terrible but also understandable ... geordie was an only child and sounds like he spent a lot of quality time with his dad, his dad built his van , they were meant to do this trip together one day before he got sick ......but he's a very positive guy and he's doing it himself in his memory . Both their first times in Morocco

You certainly have not lost your ability to take lovely photos. Keep them coming especially of the dogs and the sunsets and the beaches and the food and the old buildings......... :giggler:

How much is that?
Around €15/16

It's easier to work in euro as its just over 10dh to 1 euro whereas its about 12dh to £1

So just over 5 euro or £4 each for tagine , bread , 3 glasses of mint tea each and a 2 litre bottle of water for the table. And it was lovely .

I prefer the places the locals eat to the more touristy restaurants.
