Doc on tour, France, Spain, Morroco.

Scandalous tae that pont cost me €5 ......and the miserable git only gave the dogs an ashtray of water .
Must have been a posh place either that or they thought we will get this Scott. 🤣
I've never paid that much for a beer in Spain.

Standard glass is about €2.80 on average now it seems. That was a pint and €4.50 paid with a 5euro note and felt a bit tight had I taken the change. Although he didn't deserve the tip as the service was very poor.

Our last and current Labs have worn a Halti, the type that goes around thier head and muzzle. Our current Lab, like Blu, is very smart, generally good off lead, but pulls like anything on a harness most of the time. Put the Halti on her though and you can walk her holding the lead with one finger. If she tries to pull her head is pulled to the side, she knows that now so doesn't bother trying. Sometimes if we have her on the harness and she's pulling, just taking the Halti out of a pocket and showing her it is enough to stop her pulling, for a time at least.

Blimey you really have lost the plot, a tip as well. 😭

I worked as a delivery driver for years. I always tip

When I worked for Tesco home delivery I experienced two extremes - a family in a rich area with a big delivery worth £120? who expected me to unload the crates. no tip, but a lovely old lady in a council estate whose delivery was £5-6, but who insisted on pressing a £2 coin into my hand, every week, but despite many protests from me and refusals, I gave up in the end as it seemed to please her.

She is yes , a big lovable loving goofball who's highly intelligent but nae common sense. But i think she will grow in to a fabulous dog when she matures a bit.

If she lives that long 🤣🤣

I managed to get one of those collars this morning that has the material 3/4 of the way round then there's a bit of a chain at the back that tightens if she pulls .. but the chain itself goes nowhere near her neck so the only difference from her normal collar is that it tightens a bit . So will see how I get on with that over the next day or two and if that don't help I'll try one of the halti harness things from amazon.
Those half check/martingale collars didn’t work for my dog. Harnesses I think they just lean into and pull like a sled dog!

Christmas Eve Running GIF by MOODMAN
I'm sure the doggies will have extra treats.

Merry Christmas tam and dogs.
Maybe a Halti would be a good idea, used just to train her, don’t like them myself, you see so many dogs that seem to wear them all the time, it’s a training aid!

Merry Christmas Tam & the gang. :xsmile:

Ref using all the above types of controllers, always have a normal collar & lead too as the above are only for directing/training, not restraining a dog if it does have a good pull.
