Its not a coolbox its a fridge freezer with compressor, I have the CFX 28, CFX35, CFX50 and CFX 65DZ (DZ means dual zone so can be used as all fridge or all freezer or split half and half). I don't eat foreign food so take all my own meat for 6 weeks

No we have climate control in teh barn but no airconWill you be taking the barn when you go away in your new Swift.
i do have a fridge freezer in the van but we only take the meat, we buy veg locally. My wife flies down to save weight in the van but with a new van she could come with mei did say 'coolbox' type..
and presumably you also have a convential built in fridge freezer too in your van?
i was just wondering how you managed to store enough chilled/frozen/dairy/fruit/veg food for the six people that you take for the six weeks..
but if you have so many of the 'coolbox' type compressor ones that must explain also why you have to have such a large payload, just trying to understand your requirements..
Oh dearI think I’ve reached my tolerance limit.
Bye bye.
Cheap.....a cheap hotel down there which is an option to the shed is £400 a night x 2 rooms = £800 ..........
Plenty of room for the filet steaks thoughHe makes his wife fly down to save payload. This stuff is quality
Wot........like these? We are boat people not motorhomers
The difference being a boat is on the water but the water is in a swiftAt home with a Swift then ☺ .......
....... we have a 664 by the way ?
Nah, its not the coolbox, don't be fooled about talk of 'steak' its the supply of FB Pies that he takes with him!but if you have so many of the 'coolbox' type compressor ones that must explain also why you have to have such a large payload, just trying to understand your requirements..

I am so glad I haven't sold you a vanI’m really not getting the answers I want to hear, let’s got some things absolutely clear so you can understand, these are NON negotiable.
We spend 6 weeks in one place in France, same place every year
We can not afford or want to stay in a hotel
We could stay in a shack for £2,500 a week but that is dead money so NO
I am not spending over £100,000 on a van just to sleep in for 6 weeks a year
I will not stay in an fffing tent, I want aircon
We MUST go to this bloody place
I want in excess of 1,000kg payload (see below)
Must sleep 6
Must have 6 seat belts
These are negotiable:
My wife is very fat so I fly her down so I can take her Fray Bentos supply, she could come in new van as over 1,000kg plus will increase that
The type of van or model
The rear lounge but must have lots of room
So SENSIBLE answers on a post please, Thanks
I am so glad I haven't sold you a van
That’s interesting... I have wondered if some customers are so demanding and/or unreasonable that a dealer would simply not wish to get involved in a sale.
If ANYONE was like that I wouldn’t buy from them, just sold mine and had two guys crawling all over it, I don’t blame them and that was only £23k, I had nothing to hide and in fact they said it was cheap for the condition, I was happy with the price and they were more than happy so win win. Paying £70k even new still demands a thorough examination, some of the people selling this seem to forget it’s a lot of money and a few probably don’t have that spare cash to buy one themselves. I guess I could be seen as slightly demanding but I also respect it the other way, I would prefer a buyer to thoroughly check a van I was selling rather than someone just take it and abuse it, I probably would not sell it to them! That’s interesting... I have wondered if some customers are so demanding and/or unreasonable that a dealer would simply not wish to get involved in a sale.
RTFP above!Tent?
RTFP above!
Why would they? It’s the same with any line of work. Some people are more trouble than they are worth.
In my work situation I can smell them a mile off these days.
Oh Please! Chris, this is a SERIOUS question, I’m about to transfer a lot of money for something I don’t really want but NEED for a purpose, I just hope the outlaws don’t die any time soon as I will be selling it they day they do ?I did. I was just trying to annoy you because I was bored.
