Do I cancel my new Swift van?

596 is trying his hardest to get someone sent to Coventry

Someone's posts might make you frustrated, they might make you angry. If they make you break the rules then we should all know by now that provocation is not a good enough excuse be rude to them. There is no excuse. I hate having to ban people, it upsets me, it make me sad that people think so little of motorhomefun and what we have here and they are happy to break the one rule that keeps this place nice.

If you keep waving that willy so vigorously not only will it get very messy it will fall off.
I can wave it even more now, just been up to the Weighbridge in full race trim. Water filled way past 100%, fuel brimmed a mile before the weighbridge, left day tent we hardly use in (25kg), about 12kg of wine & beer.
First time I've weighed it since having the air suspension that adds 50-70kg.

Took an average of 3 readings.
Front axle 355kg under
Rear axle310kg under
Gross 4135kg, 365 kg under.
::bigsmile:::bigsmile:::bigsmile:

The air suspension scales read about 4% higher so when I check it myself if it's under the limit I know I'm well in. :D

Has it fell off yet lol

I can go overweight without even trying. Overweight without hubby in it. Doing my very best to think of things I don't need to take with me, but It is very hard, think it might mean cutting my willy off haha

I'm no mathematician but is that not impossible? A bit like understanding this thread.
I understood because I do that. If we're being pedantic he should have said "past the gauge reading 100%". But you knew that didn't you ??.

Too slow again

Only 365kg under? we must be at least 400 under?

There seem to be a few threads that complain about their new motorhomes but this has to be the first complaint before even taking delivery.

If I were the dealer and read this thread the customer would have had his deposit returned by now.

Why even consider buying a Swift if you see faults on the dealer's showroom model.

The original video showed the differences between the Swift and the Hymer - £20k more. Take off the cost of the base vehicles and I would guess that the Hymer conversion was twice the cost of the Swift.

The main complaint seems to be about the state of the sealant - not acceptable - but you save £20k.......

Jim ,I have not been rude to him and neither as a y one else that I can see, all his questions have been answered but he still has to have a pop in a round about way.
I have done with this thread , let him ask himself , that's who seems to know all the answers

I never said you had. I just responded to your statement that the OP was trying to get someone into Coventry, pointing out that no one can get you sent there you send yourself there. People have been rude in this thread and it is not on.

I want to be a willy waggler, but I can't, I have got no payload and no willy.

I have got a payload AND a willy but whilst the latter is not of suitable dimensions for waggling...

...the former is pretty substantial.

JJ

Should you "cancel your swift van?"

Yes/no, up to you
As an experienced Motorhomer with strong opinions you should be able to make up your own mind.

You've managed to get one long time member banned, hope you're happy.

I suspect you're not long here

Surely the long time member got himself banned.

Extreme provocation - trying the patience of a saint ???
Agreed Stephen. Extreme provocation should attract appropriate punishment. What about it Jim ?

I had a meeting with my wife this evening and it has just finished, we discussed what she saw yesterday when she inspected the van, we looked into the pros and cons and the risk of buying Swift after seeing videos and with our own eyes, we also spoke with the fantastic dealer today who is stuck in the middle and have now made a decision ? I would also like to add that we have taken into account ALL comments on this thread, so none whether in jest or not were ignored, so THANK YOU ALL!

I should like to point out that the word "feck " is not a swear word

It's Irish/Scots and actually means look out

It does not mean the same as the other word that rhymes with muck

That's why I use feck quite a bit ?

This should clear up klatuus statement :p
