Do I cancel my new Swift van?

It's quite possible I suppose but Jim usually has these type of things well covered. He's obviously got access to the email/IP addresses etc so should get a good idea if people are actually who they say they are.

Like I mentioned before, on a few of the football forums I am on if a particular person gets a bit sulky and maybe makes an arse of themselves on the forum it seems a few decide to come back with a new user name and try again pretending to be someone else. Of course the admin on those sites is non-existent which makes it pretty easy to do.
Very easy to hide if you want to, a generic email address (gmail for example) and some pseudo profiling, job done, impossible for Jim to check with any degree of certainty.

Eew, too much info for this time in the morning.
Would have to totally disagree with this!:(
Absolutely no information given on what this "muesli" thing is.
How are we meant to offer support to a poster who is about to go for a major surgical procedure (bodypump) if we don't have a clue as to what they're talking about!
Now if they had said a full fry up wi haggis, fruit pudding (one of our 5 a day!), tattie scones (our second 5 of a day), etc....... we could have assisted.(y)

I think a few people are now uncertain and have asked specifically whether or not the wife has seen the actual van or just a display van as in one of the OPs posts there was a mention of a van being all wrapped up so we then thought that perhaps no one has actually seen the real van. I think but I’m not sure that it was Minxy Girl who asked directly a couple of times but didn’t get a direct answer. It’s a bit like watching a really bad TV series but having started you just can’t help yourself, you want to know how it ends!

Post #4 but don’t let the facts get in the way of a good witch-hunt!
Not going to prolong this anymore and yes he did say that in the beginning, but when pushed in a later post he admitted they were photos of the showroom van, just part of a very unusual thread, I can't be bothered anymore.

If can bear to look back, don't blame if you don't want, he said theirs was all sheeted up when she got there so she took photos of the one in the saleroom as she
I'd assumed the photos were of the van they'd purchased, but like you, I couldn't bear to scroll back.
Completley pointless excerise posting those then.
Grrrr

“Anyway wife is there and the new van has similar sloppy issues so no lessons learned, just deciding what to do.”

No, they have now decided, see post 205! They just won't reveal their decision.

Just a big wind up Janine like the other subjects he has posted I'm afraid!

I am probably somewhat cycnical , and most likely due to my previous history , but the posts are not what I consider to be "the norm " for the avg new MH forum member, and there have been a nuance to them that generates my opinion , as to motives ? but then that's JMHO :) .

Janine ... do you remember 'The Tortoise' on another forum .... ?

There's been loads of troll posts on mumsnet. Did anyone read the penis beaker one? It was hilarious!

Sadly this thread isn't in the same league.

Someone is PMing him he "was last seen 18 minutes ago engaged in conversation "

Crikey, the forum police are all over this one, aren’t they?

I sometimes think that some people on here rather like the sound of their own voices just a little bit too much.

Think about it ?

Did you see the one about the blonde woman that wore her bathing costume upside down, exposing her female bits. It was so funny reading the comments. Lol

Extreme provocation - trying the patience of a saint ???

Agreed Stephen. Extreme provocation should attract appropriate punishment. What about it Jim ?

I don't know how many times we have to explain it, provocation is not an excuse to break the rules here. If we allowed people to respond in kind where does it end? We may as well shut up shop now. There are so many ways to tell someone that they are wrong, rude, obnoxious or annoying without being rude to them, if you can't, or can't be bothered to do this then report the post and I will do it. But If you want to tell people to feck of, go and do it on twitter or facebook.

Does seem crazy to me to but a Motorhome to use for one trip a year. Leaving a van idle for most of the year is a sure fire way of wrecking it. They need a good drive every few weeks to keep them sweet & to stop everything seizing up.
