No dealer can guarantee a date at the moment. Chassis can't be completed, which means they can't get to the manufacturers, which means the manufacturers can't give a date if they don't know. One big manufacturer was waiting for 400 chassis to arrive and they got 12.

Do trust purchasers have protected there deposits, as it struck me if dealers are across the board taking quite large financial hits to the bottom line, some may not be around to deliver.
Even if still making a much reduced profit, as things are going to get really tough shortly hitting fixed over heads.

It arrived in December 2021 but we had to wait until March 2022 before it could be registered because of delays with the 'Certificate of Conformity (CoC)' arriving from France. Apparently it could not be registered in the UK without the CoC.

Last October we ordered a motorhome that was due in stock at the dealers in November 2021. It arrived in December 2021 but we had to wait until March 2022 before it could be registered because of delays with the 'Certificate of Conformity (CoC)' arriving from France. Apparently it could not be registered in the UK without the CoC.

re CoC, I checked, this link below says it all ....

We weren't too bothered about the delay as the P/EX price & purchase price were 'locked' in and we got a 22 plate rather than a 71 plate.......

Good news, a month ago we were given a new date for delivery to the dealer of 30/6. It had been changing month by month since last October when it should have arrived. This is the first time it has not got put further back.

Yesterday, one month later, we’re surprised and pleased to hear from our dealer that the delivery date was still 30/6. We know others awaiting an Adria have had further delays so does this mean ours just might be more realistic, let’s hope so.

The dealer feels reasonably confident, my suspicions of it not coming before August, to be wrong. So it comes in time for our trip to the NC 500 for our sons wedding in mid August

Did they access that date through the ‘Adria Portal’ (sounds very Harry Potterish!)? I’m going back to ours - Chelston in Wellington - for an update in a week or so. IIRC delivery starts to get serious when a VIN number is allocated on the system, is that what’s happening with yours?

I presume he got the date from the portal Orion. No VIN number yet but he said he would ring me again in 2 weeks so I’m thinking perhaps if the date was correct then he would get the VIN by then, hence the call. He knows we have some specific dates planned.

I don’t want to ask really, I’d given up on it coming this year to be honest so anything earlier is a bonus but now I’ve got a bit of a fresh feel again. There are only so many disappointments you can get before you start to not believe in anything anymore, which is sad but true.

I‘ve every respect & faith in the dealer, but in reality they have no control and only can glean what they can. I don’t believe Adria, and probably all the manufacturers, are being open about the situation due to business interests etc. It must be a worrying time for them too.

Coming from what was the worlds largest caravan manufacturing area, once upon a time, with a brother who was a manufacturer I know historically what a difficult industry it was with companies standing or falling on a fine balance. I don’t suppose much has changed since those days

Just a confirmation today from Instagram photo, my dealer got an Adria Twin 640 SLB earlier this month, that should have been coming in May, and I see the new owners have received it now too. All good news

We picked a new van up bout 3 weeks ago. Had at least 4 confirmed dates of delivery. This was after we waited 6 months for a van we collected that blew up after 15 miles. Yes NEW as in0 miles.

Sorry I don’t know, but I guess it cannot of been much earlier than mine in the chain of new 22 models, which I think were first ordered in Feb 21 then speced as sold to customers. We bought ours 9/5 for delivery Sept/Oct 21and latest date is 30/6 but that hasn’t changed for 5/6 weeks now, which is a first!

We are expecting ours but not heard a peep from Lowdhams.
I think it's Pie in the Sky we'll get it in May. I haven't contacted them yet I was waiting until first week in May to see what's happening.

Original date was March but put back to May. Reading other comments on here make me doubtful as to whether it will arrive though.

Gosh, we walked into a dealer just before Xmas & purchased a brand new Autosleeper that they had in stock (canceled order) I was a bit upset thatI had to wait 10 days for it to be registered!

I certainly would not risk waiting a year for a new build, or at least not until I could get a chassis number and visit the factory to check progress.

It was a dealer order that we put a deposit down on in January.

Ours was a dealer bulk order which were able to upspec and deposit paid August 21 with delivery now (April 22) now sometime October22 if we're lucky!

Yes, ordered Nov 21 (from one the dealership already had on order so didn’t spec ourselves) on the basis delivery was due Feb/March. Last info from Highbridge was about 6 weeks ago when the portal for Hymer was stating delivery May/June. I’m not banking on it though.

Would be great to have it now as we are missing it. Ours was written off when daughter & SiL borrowed it ) not their fault & they were not injured but very sad for us)
