Anyone still going away for New Year ?

until councils,or the police, shut the supermarkets where they do not enforce the face covering rules ,they are wasting there time.
Your not wrong, every time I go in a shop it’s seems to always be the Skanky people who don’t wear masks, they are probably ones most likely not to have much personal hygiene🙁
Had one the other day in the paper shop walking through the door shouting at the girl on the till that she forgot her mask again, Bloke with her seem to have forgot his also.
Before the shops shut I was in the GANT shop, Bloke and his girlfriend no mask on he was taking jumpers off the rack and trying them on staff never even looked at him!!

There are no end of posts all over various threads of what some may take as ‘odd’ decisions

going to the pub on Christmas Eve as it would be closed after

click and collect for random things that surely didn’t justify the ‘essential’ journey

trips to view or collect MH’s

we all make our decisions, based on our needs and perceptions, I do find it odd and somewhat disingenuous (hope that’s the right word 😁) that some of the loudest opinions come from posters who will have pushed the boundaries in others eyes , but they don’t see that

be kind, none of us will know the whole picture behind others actions

Sometimes I think this place gets more like the old Motorhomefacts every day. Miserable, condescending old buggers posting/preaching at fellow members from a high horse. Must dig out my old sign..... found it. '\

Glad you enjoyed your day away Swifter (y)

How's everyone getting on with the new festive emoji's ? I think I might ask Jim to do a couple more ? Maybe a wizard like person with stars rotating around his or hers head? You could call it 'The Moral Guardian' And then you could have a Grim Reaper like one with dark cloak, BIG SCYTHE and around it's neck you could have Swifters forum pic on it?

Now they have split Lincolnshire into different tiers in different districts we have gone from two places for days out to one. Never mind going away we are lucky to be not in lock down and not being able to go any were.
One plus side to this lack of travel is the amount of fuel we havnt used. Think of the tax the government aren’t squeezing out of us every time we fill up.

Head for the hills but very difficult to hide a large white square box on wheels may have to dig in like them WW2 Tiger Tanks used to to present less of a target to the COVID Gestapo.

2021 into 2022 by the way :xrofl: :xrofl: :xrofl: :xrofl: :xrofl: :xrofl: :xrofl: :xrofl:

Not long to wait... :roflmto::drinks::hugs:

Have they?
Thought we're all going into T4
The only nearby T3 region is Rutland.
Wow you're right, how odd.that area was high risk when the rest of the county was unjustifiably put into T3 .
Now we go into T4 but NE stays T3... something smells.

Perhaps he & his family "got away with it".
Let's hope so.
Let's also hope he (and family) aren't asymptomatic spreaders and have unintentionally passed on the virus.

We'll never know.
If that's the case I'll PM him for the lottery numbers!!! odds of an entire family being asymptomatic that is.

Just chopped the old van and upgraded to a nice Hymer. Booked a lovely site in Pembrokeshire for New Years Eve. Free electricity and water. Lovely pitch. Very quiet here right now. 2 minute walk to the beach. Wales in Tier 4 at present. Yes, I am on my driveway 😩
