What’s the pub like? Been a few years since we last visited.
Sitting in pub at moment, food was nice (sea bream) but service was slow with excuses and smiles!! Back to the van for a wine or two, can't be bothered to wait for service. Pretty sure they will want us to pay the bill though. Not busy just slow service!!

My sister lives in Briançon she used to have a bar in Monetier so I know the area a bit.

Exciting upgrades over the next two days...

Folks at Glide Right have been really good, explaining everything, dropping us off in Liverpool with a little guided tour on the way. We came back yesterday evening and the Moho was parked up with EHU attached.

Made to feel very welcome so far.

First night out in our new campervan (sorry for the boring view 😉). Testing out the equipment and sorting out which cupboard to use for what is a bit of a challenge. How come everything you want is in the wrong cupboard?

It's going to be another stonking hot day today in Panjas, SW France. But it's beautiful and peaceful at the moment. Except for the noise of the truck racing at Nogaro, 8km away. At the end of the day they'll have a Concours after which they parade through the town, creating mayhem, blowing incredibly loud horns, reving up generally arcing around, then take possession of the town and imbibing heavily. The local bandas brass bands will pretend fight to play in front of the bars and restaurants, and the police will watch drunken truckers drive around in their gaudily decorated and highly polished gleaming machines. Then peace will return

Let’s have a couple of quiet days at Lac Annecy we thought. 😱View attachment 630408
Which site was that? We spent 10 days at Sevrier recently. Baking hot. Had a similar experience at Verdun last week getting on to a site there. Road closures meant a half mile roller-coaster ride along a narrow farm track to get to the site.

Camping Solitaire, Saint Jorioz just outside Sevrier
