For anyone interested I did need a tow off, the site has a 4x4 pickup which provided the necessary tractionIt's somewhat wet here, i'm just wondering if i'll need towing off on Monday when I leave.

Those bollards and wire catch ropes weren't there when we were last there.Hoover Dam return Arizona to Nevada.
Nowadays you can only enter onto the Hoover Dan from Nevada side, after passing though "customs like security" you cross and then have to turn around in one of the parking areas or end of the road and come back across.

Yes on the 2 water inlet towers.Those bollards and wire catch ropes weren't there when we were last there.
Do they still have the different times on the towers?
We did the tour in 1991 when we 1st visited.When we went I parked in the car park then just walked down, no sign of any security
It’s a good trip down into the dam along the tunnels
