Made up for it today though - on the municipal car park, next to the old (disused) bull ring in the heart of Segovia.

It's a very interesting place which I haven't visited yet. Henry II of Castile was founder of the House of Trastámara which did significant work on the castle, reading his history is like a season of Game of thrones, a lot of skulduggery and assassinations

Yes. They've been on the road for five years in it and only just got the high top put on in Morocco this year. No social media rubbish, just out there travelling .

Honfleur was absolutely rammed, it being Ascension weekend so drove on and found a nice little spot in Bouquelon outside the Mairie.

Only people that see this type of trouble are dealers themselves, we haven't seen any trouble, nor most people that live here, that includes some friends of mine that live here.
And I think that goes for most of the UK & Europe.

A couple of nights on Mersea Island. Stopped to drain off the grey water waste. Had to back up to avoid the cars right next to the motorhome service area. Took this scenic shot.

Arrived Thursday afternoon. Nice walks. Only campers on the entire double pitch brancy of hard standing. Given 3pm arrival. Expected the hordes on Friday. From 1pm a long procession, mainly caravans. Tranquility lost..... Glad we were leaving this morning.
