A photo of the outside from Inside

Ha, we did the same, followed the Sat nav and ended up on that crazy tunnel/train, the dogs didn't like it one bit ! Had a nice few days at Lake Iseo though to make up for it !
That train is just absurd, I had about an inch clear on my wing mirrors…if I never see it again I’ll be a happy man.

Just pulled over for an overnight stop at a viewpoint on the North Coast of Scotland near Balligill. Not far from Douneray Nuclear facility. Reading it's history, I'm not sure this is a great idea. Certainly won't be eating the fish from round here!

You can follow on

We decided want to tied to writing logs/blogs/insta/youtube so a simple step log is the be we can do.

Original plan was New Zealand/Australia for a year, home (you can only remove a vehicle from the UK for 1 year longer and it has to be exported)
to get motorhome certified and then the US but no shipping for motorhomes to New Zealand/Australia for the foreseeable future so plan reversed.
Aim is to visit all 50 State Capital, we have 365 day B2 visa. Hawaii may be by plan if RoRo too expansive but I would like to drive though all

I am not sure your Polar Steps trips are set to 'public' so it is not possible to access your them.

Think I was around that way in 2017. I dropped ten bob last time I was there, couldn’t have a quick look for me can you 😄👍🏻

Unbelievably 20degrees and sunny on the coast road to applecross at the weekend 👍😁😎

Car park at the Ruinas de Conimbriga, Condeixa-a-Velha. The staff in the ticket office said it was OK to stop overnight. And they leave the toilet blocks open 👍 Short walk into Condeixa-a-Velha village where there is a great local bar - Cafe Rock.

Tetuan Morocco.
This is a very common sight throughout Morocco but often it's the ladies who do the donkey work.

Last time I was there a nice young chap called Ahmed pulled us over and escorted us through the souk stopping at a variety of carpet shops. Loads of mint tea, no loo. Eventually when we didn't buy a carpet he took us back to the bike (Yam XJ900F) and we paid him the equiv of £1 for his trouble and 20p to the old bloke that watched the bike. Nothing touched at all.

Haven't thought about a moho trip across..... Have you done a regular update on your trip?

Aire at Peso da Regua on the bank of the Douro river, Portugal. It's free to camp, 3 euros a day for ehu and it's very busy. Booked 2 nights as the weather further north isn't looking too good ☹️

Got it thanks, looks a good stop. We are going to Italy soon from Coquelles, so it might work for us.
Could well do. From Mulhouse set avoid toll roads on your satnav and instead of autoroute towards Basel, it should take you on quiet, rural D roads along the border via Ferrette eventually entering Switzerland at an unmanned border in the middle of nowhere (Lucelle). Going south I used the Lotschberg Car Train (€27 but maybe best avoided in a big van) from Kandersteg to Goppenstein and the Simplon pass into Italy which is spectacular and open most of the year - pics below.

Our plan is to do Simplon

Car park overnight stop on the NC500 just north of Ullapool On a bit of a slope - the wife is concerned about rolling down the hill into the loch below.o_O Next door are some Dutch in a little campervan with pop top. Next along parks up on a big A class Frankia. Launches his £5K self levelling system and is now lording it over us all!

Only updates are on the Morocco 23 thread on here..
In Ouarazatte I bought two five litre bottles of water. Walking back to the campsite two separate local guys on old mopeds stopped and asked me if I wanted a lift. Lovely people mostly.

Nice one @phil_n_npton. When you post your next photo, click “full size” on the little photo and we can enjoy Panavision surround sound quality! Also, I like to know where the photo was taken because I like to see my old country and know where I am, virtually-speaking! It doesn’t have to be the geographic co-ordinates, but enough to satisfy my nosey inclinations!
