Just arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Feels very different here with mosques and minarets in every village instead of churches. Found a lovely spot to spend the night, chill, visit the waterfalls, and for Linda to swim in the river. £8.60 to park the night inc toilets, showers, water etc I'm liking BiH View attachment 809858View attachment 809861View attachment 809863View attachment 809866
Stayed there a few years back, but I think it was about 2 CHF then overnight so you’re definitely members of the FLT and tightarse club.Do we now qualify as members of the FLT and tightarse club on here.
Car park at the stadium in Vaduz, Litchenstien. Cost FREE,
7/8 mins walk into a very nice town.
Only €23 for a Spritzer and small beer.
Wine festival going on in the city, and a bit of culture.View attachment 810027View attachment 810028View attachment 810029View attachment 810030View attachment 810031View attachment 810032View attachment 810033

I recall when we went there we watched an England v Columbia World Cup match in a marquis and beer prices were eye watering. Still, it’s to be expected in a country full of bankers.Certainly not part of the tight arse club at 23 euros
Ah but no but that was for alcohol so allowed.Certainly not part of the tight arse club at 23 euros
Stunning place, if you go up the access road then turn left there are plenty more waterfalls to look at, that also goes to the lift station that goes directly to Murren although the train from the town to Murren has lovely sceneryBooked into Jungfrau Camping Lauterbrunnen for 4 nightsView attachment 810446View attachment 810447View attachment 810448View attachment 810449.

Crickey. You're not hanging about!
We're only planning moving on tomorrow to Lake Bohinj, (Bled's bigger but less visited twin) only about 45 minutes away.
We haven't really planned where we're going after we've had a week to two in Croatia. Bosnia is a likely candidate. Whereabouts are you heading? Keep the pictures coming.
We were in Dubrodnik well before the war. Everything was in short supply. Had to buy vouchers for petrol, the food in the hotels was just about edible.
We have it on our list to do again but it won't be this trip.It certainly has changed - quite expensive now. We didn't go to Plitvice Lakes National Park as 1. It was ridiculously expensive - about £80 to get in I think and 2. Apparently it is madly busy with tourists.
Similar timescale to us. Been away now about 5 and a half weeks. Another 7 until we plan to return. We have another 7 weeks hopefully (wife's mother's health depending).
