A photo of the day thread

Finally got to taste my first and last Duvel
I don’t think good beer is for you😂😂

We always stay here when we visit Rothenburg, that does seem to be ever trip though😁 always space not squashed in like your pitch and toilets a few minutes walk as are restaurants and shops, a 5 minute walk into the town also.
If you visit again make sure you walk right to the back of the town to the park as some lovely views.

P2 is convenient to walk through the gates into Rothenburg, a few mins only.
When we arrived at 4pm it was fine. Over the next few hours they arrived in there 1,000s (well not quite).
Toilets/dump couple of mins, AND P2 backs onto an ALDI....................yipppeee.

BTW all, the river that did all the damage was The river AHR.

Todays batch........don't panic they wont be everyday.
Up in the cable car at Brigenz, very nice looking down and at the top.
Lindau.
Got to use Dolly the Dolcivita today............beats the buses.

First of this years 168 hay bales off the production line. Stacked the last 20 this morning. Beats going to the gym with the exception of ending up with half a bale in my pants! Should be the boys breakfast, dinner and tea sorted for the winter.

Did you see the Seebuhne opera staging on Lake Constance/Bodensee while you were in Bregenz?

We stayed at Camping Park Lindau in August and cycled along the lake for Madame Butterfly:

Slaving over a prime 6kg, 5 rib of beef for our niece’s U.K. wedding party, the ceremony was earlier in Spain - A Night at the Opera thread

Simple prep with a wipe of rapeseed oil and a good grind of sea salt.

Nearly there!

You take excellent photos Barti Ddu. Do you use a camera or your phone?
Thanks for the kind words.

All taken on a mobile phone. Everything on this current trip taken on a new Pixel 7a android phone. Until May this year I was using a Nokia 6.1 (2018) android phone.

I tend to do a little in-camera editing and cropping before posting.

I post all our motorhome travel related pics on Instagram if you're interested in seeing more.

Saw the set up, quite impressive, never saw/heard the Opera, not my scene at all.

We've had a stressful few days, with endless motorway hold ups, fridge and rear view camera not working and today RED warning light, gears failing to work.

So at one point we were giving up motorhoming and totally dejected.

It affects hour confidence in driving the MHome.

However our FIRST NIGHT WITHOUT EHU. At last.

I took this late last night using fairly basic gear, it's a cross between astronomy and astrophotography called electronically assisted astronomy and the images just appear on the screen of your iPad. It's a spiral galaxy a mere 10.7 million light years away containing a paltry 100 billion stars......
