A photo of the day thread

Clever accidental picture. Mouse, mushrooms and flowers are part of SWMBO window, with the trees reflected in the glass.

I know this is an old post I live in Garstang and this was my sons old pub up until 6 month ago . I always tried to get him to sign up to Brit stops but the landlord of the car park (not owned by the pub) refused to allow any motorhomes to stay overnight ,he even threatened my son with a solicitors letter when he did . I know things change in 6 months but it’s worth checking.👍
We were certainly welcomed there without any problem. I only hope that motorhomes are allowed to stay in future. It made a great stop.

“Discovered” Filey for the first time last year. Loved it. Just a lovely little seaside town with a friendly vibe about the place 👍

There used to be a big Butlins there, I visited in 58 for a dance competition, caught Asian flu spent the weekend in bedv,,,,alone,,,.
Revisited in 2010 didn't recognise the place, as you say quite lovely

Our Benny Sausage having a funny five minutes in this afternoon’s sun. Benny is a rescue pony, who had a really sh1tty start in life. Think he is making up for it now 😎
Benny suggested that we should hold a rally next year. Payment in Polo’s. Maybe we should

This Moth was on the window sill outside our door last night.
Although it was playing possum when I took the photo it was very much alive.
I am based in north east Cumbria. Can anybody tell me what it is?

Red Sword Grass. Only know because when we were in Coniston CMC site a summer or two ago we saw quite a few “walking sticks” and looked them up on the butterfly conservation website.
Fascinatingly well camouflaged until they landed on the bonnet of our van. Isn’t nature amazing.
