We were certainly welcomed there without any problem. I only hope that motorhomes are allowed to stay in future. It made a great stop.I know this is an old post I live in Garstang and this was my sons old pub up until 6 month ago . I always tried to get him to sign up to Brit stops but the landlord of the car park (not owned by the pub) refused to allow any motorhomes to stay overnight ,he even threatened my son with a solicitors letter when he did . I know things change in 6 months but it’s worth checking.

This Moth was on the window sill outside our door last night.

Thanks for the replyRed Sword Grass. Only know because when we were in Coniston CMC site a summer or two ago we saw quite a few “walking sticks” and looked them up on the butterfly conservation website.
Fascinatingly well camouflaged until they landed on the bonnet of our van. Isn’t nature amazing.
