What a lovely village. Thankyou.
That is one of the reasons we want to be able to get back to UK for a few months. Plus can not wait to see our son, daughter in law, and our granddaughter 4yr. They live in London. Two years since we have been over that way.

Decided to call in on Diddly Squat Farm. We got there at 9.15am, the place/shop opens at 9.30. It was mobbed. Qs for miles (slight exaggeration) Took a pic jumped in the car and headed north.

The campers next door are not happy i hear tell. Boy racers up and down the lane. Bet the owner is not. JCs shop must have brought a good bit of new custom.

It was more or less on our way home so thought we would pop in and have a look. Saw the crowds and said quick pic and let's get out of here. This was half an hour before it was due to open. Mad what people will do.

Did you know the first trains start at 05.30?
5:30am :D

I doubt it , apart from the drivers I didn't see anyone under 70 so I'd think their 5am starts are well behind them

It's very impressive close up

For anyone thinking of visiting Burr's country Park CCMH site it's very nice , the park is beautiful and right on the edge of the site , the conductor told us the caravan club paid for the station to be built so members get buy one free on a round trip ticket , get on and off at all the stations if you want

£14.50 for 2 if booked online rather than £20 each if you just arrive at the station to buy a ticket

The Hymer is in this picture somewhere! Taken at the top of Hay Bluff the other morning.

As a side note I was talking to one of the rangers / wardens up there and he says overnighting is not allowed on the car park. We had stayed over in the Oxford Rd car park in Hay-on-Wye. The road up from Hay is pretty narrow - both mirrors were touching the hedges in quite a few places. The ranger said the road over to Gospel Pass is closed at the moment due to a bit of a land slip - if it had been open he reckoned I would have got the Hymer through if I was feeling lucky ...
