A dull and wet day so had a trip into Caernarfon for a fish and chip dinner

Lovely place, Caernarfon. Isn't it a shame that wheelie bins and skips always seem to spoil photos and scenery. We have a similar problem with overhead power cables and pylons.

Bridge of Allen is a lovely little town with some nice stone buildings...

The millrace from the bridge that gives the town its name...

For some reason this reminded me of the mural's that you often see around the Fuentes in villages in Spain??

Moved on to Stonehaven for a night and had an evening stroll along the promenade...

Moved on today to Port Errol, Cruden Bay...

The Green where the fishing nets were dried...

The Water of Cruden flowing to the sea...

Really crowded beaches of the cleanest golden sand we have seen...

Enjoying a G&T whilst watching the gulls scour the outgoing tide...

Onwards tomorrow!!

Really struggling with forum lately. Tried to like photos but reaction buttons don't work. .

It's threads with photos on.

Carried on north this morning through Aberdeenshire..

Coffee at Rosehearty harbour...

Whilst at Rosehearty, we had a look at a new "Aire" that seems to have been 'organised' by CAMPRA....(on Search4sites)

It looks very nice and if we had seen it later in the day we would certainly have stayed there.

Moved on and had lunch at the carpark next to the Banff Links caravan site.
Lovely beach with loads of surfers & SUP's

Passed a field with a crop of purple flowers???

Had a look at Cullen, the home of " Cullen Skink" and decided to overnight here..

Again a nice harbour...

... and G&T time from our 'pitch'.

If you zoom in beyond the headland to the left of the image, you can just make out some hills on the horizon. A local told us this was Wick!

If you want a good Cullen Skink, I can recommend the Cullen Bay Hotel , on the left as you leave town.

One I missed putting on yesterday of the rock formations at Cullen Beach...

Moved further west today to the Motorhome Stopover at Findhorn.
Nice amenity.
An evening stroll on the beach after most of the Sunny Sunday afternoon crowds had gone.

Done with beaches now, beautiful as they are! Heading south towards the hills and Deeside in the morning

That's such a shame as you can see forum and photos are working fine, for others, can you clear some cookies or something to get your phone working properly.

We were there last year just on the border of Devon & Cornwall. Rented a small car to get around. Love it

We grabbed the last place on the CL Bogroy Croft. Nice quiet site with 300 metre walk along the river to the bridge.

Sooner or later we will meet another MHF member. Our windscreen sticker is on display but no-one bites. Maybe they were fore warned to keep clear

Headed south, away from the coast this morning. It's amazing how quickly the scenery changes up here.

Margaret has decided she would love to buy this place and become a Recluse!!

I don't do many photos of food but here is our Tea..

Mixed meats and Avacado, home made coleslaw and a Feta cheese and Omega Seed salad.
The reason we had this tonight is that this is where we are...

and a certain someone is in residence and we thought she might just drop in for tea with us .

Sadly not

Went for a stroll afterwards...
