MO! You have not taken your tablets again. Naughty, naughty boy.

Our lockdown homegrown tomatoes have turned out well. Slightly out of focus shot of a few of the small Red Alert tomatoes next to a whopping 590g* Gourmandia F1 beef tomato. Both are delicious with the Gourmandia edging out in front.

The castle, not the town, should be called Bernard's Castle after Bernard Balliol who built it in the 1100s. :)

as a local, the town is always called Barnard Castle...

oops, original post revised after realising you not the original poster 😀

Nearly bought a Spitfire to replace the CR40 I had... Maybe one day I’ll take the plunge.. I was offered a Flat Tracker too but SWMBO said “No... not till you’ve sold yours”... I’m now bikeless 😌

Blimey, I’ve got a CR40 as well as the new Spitfire Cafe Racer, think there were only 19 CR40’s ever made! My Cafe Racer is 59 of 250. a picture of it up at the TT Grandstand visiting the CCM boys,

I think there were 25 CR40’s but only 11 remained in the UK.. mine was mint but she’s now gone... a 75 year old guy bought her as his Bonneville was getting too heavy for him... he collected the bike in the middle of a force 9 so I was cringing as he left but he made it home...

I’d still consider a Spitfire if one came up as it’s light enough to get into my shed... since we downsized house I don’t have a garage.. I know.. a criminal decision

It was Ben Clews who told me 19 were made, Allan’s grandson’s stayed with us for last years MGP, I got mine through Ben, it was a part ex for a Spitfire. The only Spitfire you’ll get now will be second hand as the whole range were limited numbers 👍
