Nice one, I did some voluntary work in South Africa a few years ago at a lion park, had to look after 12 lions that size including two white ones. Where was that picture taken.

It’s at the Lion Sanctuary on the R512 Hebeerspoort.

Great place to visit, animals all well looked after in as natural an environment as possible.

We were told they moved to this facility around four years ago.

The white one gnawing me was a proper so and so but just doing his thing though.

That is the base for our decking patio from re-sued timber from our old deck
The summer house is made from 9 bits of new wood for the frame and re-used the rest of the timber from an old shed with hand made new doors (by me) the windows are re-used from the roof of the old caravan shed
in the background can be seen the new greenhouse again made from the timbers and plastic roof from the caravan shed and the door end is from the old shed again

So summer house, green house, and decking has cost
9 pieces of 3x2
200 new screws
2 tubes of mastic
1 roll of roofing felt

Today was give the van a run day ;) it's been a while, so we did the tourist thing and went to Guadalest.

A lovely day and not busy, last time we went it was snowing and me and son in law had our shorts on.

It's €4 a day to park, probably 6 were staying the night. (y) Bob.

Well Saturday I did my usual trick of falling down stairs this time I hurt my self so ended up in A&E yesterday (Tuesday 5/2/19) with a knee injury but thankfully no torn ligaments so told to rest unfortunately Steph had other ideas as it was Fantastic weather today - good job I had done all the prep so only had to lay out and screw down the decking boards Steph has painted it all

Not a bad job totally upcycled deck even the screws were stored - they were originally stored by my father who has been passed over for 30 years

Go careful on that surface in the wet, another knee injury in the offing.

Good work on faking this knee injury to get the wife to do the painting. I played that one a couple of years ago :)

Stayed on that car park for two nights in April last year.

When the attendant saw our PVC on the first night he reduced the price from two euros to one!

On returning the second next night he wasn’t present so, on leaving the next morning, we went to pay. He just waved us out and wished us a good holiday.

Two nights, in a great location for €1.

Result!(y) :)

Yes it’s a great place to stop for a couple of days but you can’t use ramps anymore or get your chairs out , police have stopped it.

But there’s plenty of grass and a beach to sit on or better still local tapas is cheap.

You seem to have good weather.

When we were there it was very heavy rain.

The first evening we walked out for a meal. Most restaurants had closed as no one was venturing out. Eventually we found one and had a great meal although there was only one other couple in there, besides ourselves. The large screen TV was showing a Spanish football match but no on-one was watching so we asked if they would put the England v Wales rugby match on.

They did and then we had to spend the entire evening explaining the rules of rugby to the waiters. Great night though.

Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Out on the bike today, while Janie is out walking ,probably on Montgo in my photo ;) but I'm not spying on her.

Saw this old guy ploughing his land with a horse. looked like it was going to take forever. (y) Bob.
