A photo of the day thread

We don't normally like to use motorways, but sometimes they are a necessity, and in Italy reasonably priced.
When we do use them I tend to stick to just over 90kph which keeps us sort of out of trouble with the lorries.

So normally the comment from myself "F*** me look at this one" is uttered it is normally for the low flying Audi/BMW or the occasional nice sports car and not a German towing a caravan.

Move forward about 10 minutes and quite a sharp left hand bend.........

Brings back the question...What's the difference between a hedgehog and a Range Rover driver?
Italians are a breed of their own on motorways especially through mountains. If you have ever traveled south from Milan on a Friday evening you will know what I mean. Nutters….

I mentioned at the dining table that we were thinking of leaving on the friday to head south around Milan.
The entire table stopped and in unison said NO!

As you can see by the shadows, sun almost directly above at 1400 hrs on the Longest Day.

Hi @namwaldog , we used stop there quite often , but the wife noticed the pens along side of the ponds , they are used to catch /snare or trap the wild ducks so the locals can cook them and eat them
Needless to say we don't go there anymore
