Enjoying your posts and pics. Wish you could tag your names in the pics, or better still put a pic of themselves and name on each post. We haven't met up with many funsters and when we did at a show we didn't know who they were. After reading all these ...You all seem like friends, names only, so look forward to meeting up with you. Great posts:thumb:

Good morning to all the Moroccan Marauders!

Is anyone travelling with their dog? Just wondering because if we do managed to follow in your wheel tracks next year we will have our little dog with us.

Canopus will be along shortly as Ken & Lynda have taken their dog "jess" jack russell

ricey is also here with 2 doggies. :thumb:

Sure someone will be on later, maybe all sunbathing..:Cool:

That's Ok, no rush we are not going until 2015 :Rofl1: Interested to know how they are getting on with walking about the towns etc, now do the locals react to pet dogs in restaurants, cafés the markets, public places. All the usual stuff that dog owners need to know.

Nothing better than up to date advise from people that are there now.

Here's a link to an English couple who spent 2 years on the road including Morocco.

They travelled with Charlie a Spaniel through many countries and he does feature quite a bit in their daily life.

The blog is quite long but very well written, they are a great couple and the dog is even nicer.

Both Canopus and I have dogs with us. No issues so far. Will let you know if we have any issues getting back into Spain

Wassey Beach Camping

Hi,

This is our first post and hope it comes out right.
We promised Carol at Tagazoute a report of this site.

We just arrived at the above and found it to be even better than when last here...last March.

There are more places than before, some with electric even more without.

Showers and toilets above normal Moroccan standard.

WiFi at the restaurant and reception and a pretty good Maroc Telecom signal....INWI however is just about useless where we are, maybe better elsewhere in the camp.

The beach in front of the terrace is pretty clean but not so along a bit by the "town" part.

The walking from here is great, less than a Km and you're in the National park where you can walk for hours.

There's a small shop selling the basics and the restaurant serves basic Tagines

Hope that helps

All the best

Good morning to all the Moroccan Marauders!

Hi,

Travelling with Charlie Brown the labradoodle. All fine. When he arrived he got conjunctivitis though, and it was quite bad, but we kept wiping spray savlon over his eyes to keep clean a few times a day and after a few days his eyes were better. Incredible! Not getting a vet bill for that in future then!

The people are; some friendly to him and some scared of him, we have found it fine. Moroccan people are friendly and nice generally.

Only points to remember for returning to spain are:

make sure your rabies jab is within the last year, as spain require that, uk jabs last 3 years, so you will have to get another if it is going to be over 1 year since last jab.

you need a copy of the blood test certificate to show at the Spanish border (if asked for). without that, they won't allow you in.

Hope that helps. It's good, don't stress about it, very relaxed just ensure you follow procedures above.

Chilling day here at Sidi Ifni.. Walk around the town.
Did a recharge on my internet sim, for info it is a new promotion Maroc telecom sim. Originally I was sold a 10 day access card for 60dh, have now added another month for 100dh.. So in theory cheaper than last year...

Beer o'clock started mid afternoon and apart from a break for food some are still going.... We dont have the sing song like at Tagazoute but our little group is enjoying the trip. We have the Fun flags flying and another Brit van on the site has told us they have joined..:thumb:

Sorry try it now lol :thumb: Click HERE
Andrew & Carol,

Thank you so much for another superb compilation, accompanied by the very authentic background music..............which I wouldn't normally appreciate, if you get my meaning.
I'll show it to Rita in the morning, in the hope that it might get the travelling bug biting. :Rofl1:

Cheers for now,

Jock.

A phenomenal night Good music - Good company - Good humour - Great time.

Tonight we enjoyed ourselves as normal. Well not exactly as normal. Tonight there was amazing exuberant dancing from several of the women in our group. We were joined by some German folk and the guardians did not just pass by but lingered for quite a time enjoying the atmosphere and a couple of cans.

As the music ended some of our number moved off while the remainder pulled chairs in so we could sit and natter. At this point Pinkie emerged from her van to ask if we would like anything to eat. I thought 'great I could enjoy a few crisps or peanuts' but no not at all - out comes a fantastic beef and vegetable casserole. Pinkie had cooked a meal for herself and Poppy and in truth there was enough for the five thousand. She even provided bread. We gladly accepted and using glasses as bowls and fingers as cutlery we (that would be a number of us including me - the one on a diet) devoured a wonderful meal. WOW a great ending to a great night. :thumb::thumb:

There are a quite a few photos of the evening to follow. Not sure of the best way to post them.

Tried using the Morocco 2014 album but no success. So just using posts for now.
