Now that we have a fairly full complement of Funsters the habit has formed of "beer o'clock" which is sometime after 4pm where everybody congregates for a couple of beers, glasses of wine, mulled wine, lemsip with whiskey or whatever floats your boat.
We continue until sometime between 7:30 and 8:00 when it gets too cold to sit out longer. An early finish also means that we don't upset the French and Germans any more than necessary.
Ken however is remorseless in pursuing his mission to enhance the cordial relations between our various countries.
Fortunately the Germans that Ken became so friendly with when he arrived have departed and their half acre site has become Funster Central with vans circled like the old Western wagon trains.
Beer o'clock was held tonight inside the circle and I am sure our musical soirée will have been much appreciated by all within 200 yards of Funster Central.
All the old Funster favourites were trotted out - Alice (who the f***?), the tortoise song, roar, roar, blow blow.
Yes, I'm sure our neighbours will have enjoyed it just as much as we did.

blow blow, roar roar from Tiznit :Rofl1:

The pinkie posse are definitely heading down to Taghazoute tomorrow, finished shopping...............well left a jeweller (friend?!) with my bank account severely lighter, I am going to pray for recompense via ebay........and cross fingers............and hope a lot.

My body will not enter the Medina in Marrakech, I only went to visit for a cup of mint tea. :Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1:

Anyway, the good news is I found some of the Berber Wedding Blankets for a great price, so I am happy that they will pay for any errors.

It's been raining all afternoon/evening so need some sunshine for my last 10 days here.

Have instructed the car park attendants to empty my full toilet cassette, thank you Dai for the bio washing thing, it def. made a difference to the pong!

Nice to have a decent exchange with money for the needie and a job I don't want to do if left a couple of days!

Hoping for sunshine and a nice drive for the first time in what seems like ages tomorrow! :thumb:

That's all of us about to enter the King of Morocco's Palace. I will never forget the guards faces all dressed in traditional costumes watching 5 motor homes entering and stopping in the Kings official car park! :Eeek:

Loads of hand waving and signals to move away QUICKLY :Doh:

Oh how I wish we had filmed it.

Also try and visit idi n ifri just below demnate it is a huge rock arc 3 million years old it is 1 hour from ouzoud,

marakech to idi n ifri 2 hours 1 hour to look round the arch 1 hour to azoud

azrou to ouzoud 5 / 6 hours

Just woke up looked out of the van, beautiful Indio black sky filled with silver stars, that match the amazing colours of the sun set here. Never for one minute did I imagine that some where I had read and heard about been a crowded place could be so amazing.

Every thing just works we have more room around us than most camp sites but to top it all we have the Funsters, thanks to Malcolm Bollt with his Fun Flag fllying high and proud to guide us in, Ricec, Canopus and us quickly found places all with a view of the sea and settled in.

That was just the beginning it was arranged those who wanted went to Bannana Market, just loved it the hustle bussel and such good quality fruit and veg, I was shown how the Tagines worked, and typically fun fashion Arnica (Carol & Arnold) offered to show us how to use it and then shared their meal with us.

What can I say about beer O'clock a very large circle 26 Funsters new and old funsters around a big circle Suggy & Mike playing their guitars and singing , with Ellie & Sue on the tambourine and of course us all joining in with the singing, money can't buy nights like these.

Tomorrow if things go to plan or maybe the night after the guys are collecting driftwood we are building a fire on the beach and partying Funster fashion, all for just £1 a night.

On our trip from Marrekesh we had a lovely drive down, after saying goodbye for now to the rest of the gang Eddie & I had a great time wondering around the Souks and in the square, some I
Pictures if I can.

Looking forward to your arrival. Just be aware it is VERY windy here at present. My flags are no longer flying as the pole snapped clean in two at about 0600 this morning.
As you come out of Taghazout we are all on the second camper area on the right. It is just at the beginning of a long straight section of road and immediately after a development area that has some hoardings around it.

For you guys and girls in the sand, I've opened an album for your pictures. Please do share them. Cheers:thumb:

We are having a ball at Tagazoute, Beer O'clock from 1600hrs to at least 1900hrs over at the Ok Corral. Daiboy, Marjohn and Canopus and now completed by Pinkie's van. We had 20 Funsters plus a couple of Kiwis who couldn't resist our lovely singing. Brilliant entertainment from our trio of guitarist plus a little strumming from our banjo bangers. Thank you all.

Daiboy. Xx

Well its Friday the Muslim Holy Day - Im afraid we couldn't hold out much longer Holy Day or not - we have just had an enormous bacon banjo enhanced with HP sauce. Hope the aroma wafting from our galley didn't upset anyone :Rofl1::Rofl1:

Another cracking day again here in Tagazhoute

A quiet night here at TIFNIT, just the roar of the waves thundering in and no interruptions during the night. A great view from the office this morning

No services here at all. Coordinates are:
N30*11'42.2
W009*38'14.2

Worth a visit for an overnighter.

Dogs?

Good morning to all the Moroccan Marauders!

Is anyone travelling with their dog? Just wondering because if we do managed to follow in your wheel tracks next year we will have our little dog with us.
