We will have to topup soon.

QUOTE=tonka;923794]Chilling day here at Sidi Ifni.. Walk around the town.
Did a recharge on my internet sim, for info it is a new promotion Maroc telecom sim. Originally I was sold a 10 day access card for 60dh, have now added another month for 100dh.. So in theory cheaper than last year...

Beer o'clock started mid afternoon and apart from a break for food some are still going.... We dont have the sing song like at Tagazoute but our little group is enjoying the trip. We have the Fun flags flying and another Brit van on the site has told us they have joined..:thumb:[/QUOTE]

Another fabulous evening at the OK corral. Beer a clock was late starting and much later than usual finishing. Excellent entertainment from Mike and Suggy plus the dancing girls. Plus a lovely supper from Pinkie. Chris (free spirit) You're going to have to take back your comment that Pinkie can't cook.

Ref the internet sim recharge.

We went into local shop with Maroc telecom sign.
You need the pink paperwork as that carries the telephone number of the sim.
The girl there sent a txt off her phone and showed me the reply to say it was accepted. On the MiFi you have a SMS/txt section, within seconds there was a new message confirming the recharge and also the new expiry date. 1 month was 100dh.. See link below for other tarrifs.. You can do online but need good French and have to use credit card.. Shop was very easy..

Another option for SIM card top up is to purchase a top up card from Maroc Telecom and put the SIM card into an unlocked mobile phone and dial 555 and quote the number under the top up card scratch off panel, immediate response from MT confirming added credit, transfer SIM card back to MIFI and off you go

It has worked for us

Thanks Alan will look out fir it tomorrow .. Love it here in Morroco. .. Thanks for your help before we came. Spoke to a friend of yours in Tagazhout . On his own wild camping. ..

Sidi Ifni

WE met a couple here in Wassey Beach Camping who told is all the sites in Sidi Ifni are full and people are being turned away yet it seems from the posts there are several Funsters there??

Can anyone update us please we would love to return there.

We would like to go to the site featured on the back cover of the Vicarious book....not sure of the name but it's the one "under" the cliff

Hello,

We are in Sidi Ifni today.

There is space. When you arrive you will pass two camp sites - both looked packed solid :Eeek: - keep driving around the corner and you will see 'El Barco'. On the beach under the cliff.

Wifi is off and on but excellent in the town. 65D per day includes elec. MrsMotorhome has arranged for her washing to be done - 10D per Kilo. Try and get a front pitch.

Sidi Ifni is brilliant. Best stop used to be Tafaroute (spelling) but Sidi Ifni is now winning. Bit of a climb into town. Strong tides - check with Tonka.

What happened to "I wont mention it on the forum"

Glad I got you now with my cut off ear !!!!!!

I am now officially on the police database.. All details handed over.
and on the "arsole" database with the surf dudes..
Cost me a lot of beer today..

Wetsuits for sale..... !!!

Sidi Ifni

Hi Mr Motrohome,

That's great thanks, that's the one we stayed at last year.
The girls in the tiny kitchen/restaurant on the right of the camp gates ( if they are still there) will cook and deliver to your van a great Paella or serve it on the terrace of the hotel....who will sell you beers/wines from their bar at only slightly inflated prices. We were desperate and paid!!

We are also at Sidi Ifni this is our third night on the first camsite Solymar not bad at all 45 dh a night .. 3 vans in our group... Still a few spaces not any vans comming and going all the time. ...

Good day here at Tagazout Beach, after a stroll across the beach with Cherrypirate (Colin & Tina) we had a walk around the village for provisions , sat and watched the world go by, got a taxi back, lovely fresh salad for tea, said hello to some more new funsters who arrived today.

In the afternoon some of the guys had watched the football, and some went beach combing for driftwood of which the been proper hunter gathers got copious amounts.

Come sundown time we all retired to the beach around a large circle of fire while Suggy & Mike played their guitars and sang, and the lady's strutted there stuff, I am struggling with picture but hopefully more will be along to capture the atmosphere, nights like these money Just can not buy.

Tomorrow in true funster fashion Bacon Butties at Malcolm & Cathrines van, then 12am for those funsters who want a. Us in to Agadar,

Doesn't look like this photo worked!

It's a stitched landscape picture if you turn it on its side it's really shows you just how many Funsters are at Tagazoute. 25 at one time this evening around a fabulous camp fire.

Good craick around the camp fire last night. As per the words in Mikes rendition of 'Lazy Sunday Afternoon' we all had a splendid time before the kindling was all used up.

Great night again courtesy of Mike & Suggy and the Salvation Army Funsters accompanying them on tambourine.

Thanks one and all :thumb:

who gary with the man truck?
he is my nx door neighbour at home.

That's him Alan, we bumped into him at Tagazhoute at Christmas time, very helpful for us on our first trip here as have been all your posts, so a big thank you to you as well. No satnag, Michelin map, kept the sea on the right.........worked for us pretty well all the way to Laayoune!

Hope to bump in to you somewhere in our travels

All the best

Barry and Sue

A warm welcome awaits at Sidi Ifni, a few of us here at ElBarco, under the cliffs and right next to the beach.. The flags are flying and beers are in the fridge...:thumb:

We are now at camping Wassay Beach , great facilities , views , nearly level decent sized pitches , good little shop with better veg than at Marjane !:Eeek: Resteraunt , with sea view terraces a real gem ,

8oD night leccy extra including maroc tax ,

They will reserve pitches if anyone wants to join us here , and they will negotiate a discount depending on how many are here ,

There is a guy making screen covers , wheel covers, 907 wind blocks etc , also morroc mats,

Bob n Tambourine Ellie are here as well complete with bruises :Rofl1::Rofl1:

 Regards Suggy

We will be following in your tracks Graham as soon as Mustafa completes the work on our van. He is installing some additional 220v sockets in the kitchen and fabricating some dolly wheels to go on the back of the chassis so we don't keep grinding away the metal when we ground the tail end getting on and off ferries.
Won't be on the road until Thursday.

Been into Agadir today and looked round the fantastic souk. Had a very tasty lunch in the souk - chicken tagine, coke, soda, three cappuccinos, and a chocolate mousse $8.28 (lost me pound sign) absolutely delish.

Carol did a deal with a bloke for jilabas and three size FB were duly procured.

Back at the van the bleeding awning wouldn't go back in. Have had to remove motor and manually crank back in. Now held closed with large tywraps courtesy of the Stig thanks Jeff - Fiamma Italian crap

Now sat outside snug as a bug in a rug in me jilaba chewing the fat. Numbers now thinning out at Tagazhoute

sorry if these don't come through or they are the wrong ones.... Carol's photos from Morocco which she wants to share.
