Hi Mike
When do you hope to get to Tagazhoute? If they've had the rain there that we had up here last night then its still gonna be squelchy. Think we prefer sandy carpets to muddy ones:Rofl1:

Would like to see Mustapha Starterbattery asap cos if Suggies theory is correct then the battery won't keep turning the engine for much longer if we have a cell(s) off

Ken we will arrive Tagazoute today. I will ring Mustafa tomorrow and see when/if he will come out.

Good morning from Camping & caravaning Ferdous. No rain and the sun out with a light wind. Front runners moving on to Tagozoute Beach.
We are staying a couple more days. Had a excellent night in Marrakech, with Gwen doing some serious haggling.

I am having trouble posting pictures but I will have a go

Thanks for keeping us all updated, Carol. Have sent you loads of Skypes but don't know what the situation is there. Give everyone my best regards .... Gosh, it does sound like you are all having fun ...

Beautiful sunny day here today with no wind and really warm .. bit like Spring day. Would still rather be there though.

Thanks for that wee vid Andrew & Carol.

Our weather here back in the UK is somewhat sedate, compared to yours.

I've managed to catch up on all 117 pages at last, and shown Rita the photos contributed by many, as well as the video above. We are looking forward to viewing more.

Despite your weather, we are definitely jealous..............just like we were of last year's Moroccon jolly too.

Graham, sorry to learn that you were ill, but glad to know you came through it. :thumb: Hope to catch up with you and Rosie, soon after getting back.

Malcolm, Rita likes Carolyne's washing machine. :thumb: I like it's low power usage.

To "old hands" and "newbies" alike, on the 2014 Morrocan tour, have a great time. :thumb: We look forward to keeping up, now that we have eventually caught up.

Safe travels to all.

Jock & Rita.

I've been so depressed for you guys that I had to go for a long ride in the warm English sunshine. They say we might have a bit of fog tomorrow.

As already stated Tonka Troupe now at Camping Ferdaous on the outskirts of Marrakech. The van was like the fire back as it had rained most of the way here. So ganzie off and fettled the van with cold water soap and brush.

Helped Eddie douche Colin's van to get the thick off. Then we had a cat which decided to climb up under the engine. Jess managed to get her nose clawed when trying to shift it:Rofl1:

I'm not quite sure that you meant what I am thinking.

Experimenting? Photo? Any ideas? WOW :Rofl1:

Essaouira

Daiboy, Dazlin and Marjohn have arrived in Essaouira. Wet drive for the first hour or so and the odd shower later. Last night the weather was horrendous but we all survived. The car park here is packed but clearing a little as the day trippers leave. We were met by Free Spirit and hopefully meeting up with the legendary Pinky later.

Had the vans washed for about a fiver, they needed it after all the rain and muddy roads. Daz has just bought us some lovely dates in bacon and a lovely slice of date cake. Yummy. Out for a meal at 7.30. Gosh it's tough out here.

Daiboy. Xx

Met Suggy today, Malcolm Bolt and Peter and Elaine before that. Seems we'll miss the rest of you as we're leaving Taghazout in the morning for Marrakech, Camping Ferdaous.

Weather for the next few days should be sunny and dry, 14-16C in the day and 8-11C overnight. Will be warmer than that if today is anything to go by.

Just come back from a meal in town at Josephine's, french run, 3 courses for 85Dh. Good food and if you're discreet you can take your drinks in. It's on the right as you go in from the camping area with metal railings, on the raised area above the main road.

The Agadir side of town still has water across the main road, but is way better than yesterday. If you take a grand taxi back to camp after dark, do not pay more than 50Dh, which is dear anyway. Cartel running.

Have fun on the rest of your journeys.
