I dont suppose there would be any free Moroccan maps for the TomTom would there?
I was just looking at the T/T site forgot exact price but it was about £39 , later I did have a email offering me a deal on the subscription ..1 now + 4 quarterly map updates for £32.95 reduced from £74.95
Kath
There is Kath, but my tame professor wont be back from Istanbul until tomorrow night. I will ask him to PM you with details. I am awaiting his return to put all my maps and POIs on my replacement tomtom.
Making a list time.....
It may now be about the right time to start a list of who is planning to go to Morocco for 2014.
There are several of the 2013 group that plan to return and for some the 15th January (same as last year) is looking like a potential crossing date...
I am happy to compile a list and from there we can see who may be doing what.
So if you want adding to the list can people either PM me or email to stevetonks@uk2.net

Tonka. Just sent an email confirming trip. Will be great to catch up with some of the old crew and meet new ones. Will be good when we meet at McDonald's and I can wear my jandals and not have to dress up to impress this time.

Hi Tonka,
Also, can anyone confirm (perhaps from last year) approximate diesel costs for getting all the way to whatshisname, by Gibraltar, for the crossing, 2.9 diesel engine, from Dundee.............
The ferry prices (as haven't booked already, obviously) to Spain are really high at the moment, looking at £900 return, and wondered whether that is worth it or better to drive through France and back for that money.
.
My VERY rough maths (before i shoot off for the pub) says 1,900 miles one way.. Assume 25mpg and fuel at €1.35 litre.. VERY APPROX £400 ish..
Ferry dover calais, we often book a few days before online and pay about £40-50 one way..
Hi can you please add Lynne & Kevin for the trip to Morocco. We are new to this and do not know what happens, so will need guidance. Many thanks.
This looks like a great trip.
I live in Gib and travel between Algeciras and Estepona quite a lot, i see an incredible of Motorhomes on the roads i guess a lot are going to Morroco. Lidl car park in Los Barrios had about 30 on there the other day i noticed as i passed by.
Look forward to joining you on the trip as soon as we get our motorhome. :thumb: Even though it's across the water I've not been to Morocco yet
Champers (Kath) You have PM.
