Whitby Goth Meet April 25th - 27th

Just getting van ready for the off just have to wait for Lorraine to finish work. One question is there a water supply there to save me filling up before leaving.

Yes you can drive down to tap, will keep a space so you can drive down, what time you getting there Gerry?

Just had a phone call first thing this morning telling me flights are being booked for me to travel tomorrow across the Atlantic... Emergency relief required at very short notice.....

So sadly we will not make it to Whitby.....

Hope to catch up with you all soon, and I'm sure you will have a great weekend...

Hoping to leave here about 2.30/3.00 so hopefully be there around 6, I can fill up here to save you saving a space its not a problem

Absolutely Gothing it down here in Whitby with an eerie fog over the moors for good measure :Eeek:

Jeff and June want to say a BIG thank you to everybody at this weekends do - you were all really friendly and made us Goth virgins most welcome.:thanks2:
If we manage to get off the reserve list for October we will both be getting gothed up (and hopefully no crutch).

Val and Bob, and all your special little helpers.
Thank you so much for another fantastic goth weekend.
This and the November meet are our favourite meets / weekends away of the whole year.
You two really know how to throw a rally. :thumb:
You get the balance just right , knowing how to make everyone feel so welcome , allowing everyone to do as much , or as little , as they want to over the weekend.

As you know we both like to do as much :Rofl1::Blush:

Please keep up the good work, and put us on the list for next year .

Bev n Ralph xxxx
Ps it was nice to meet a lot of new ( to us ) faces too. What a nice bunch of people the funsters are.

Before I go to bed, can someone post how to get pics from the ipad onto the forum. Ralph has sent lots over to my ipad. I can view them but can't seem to get them to stick on a post. I've tried several times to put some on this thread. Plus have not been able to put any into our own album for over a year too.
Any ideas?
Please explain in easy talk........:Rofl1:
Then tomorrow I may be able to put some pictures on for you all to see, of the very weird yet wonderful whitby goth scene . Thanks,.:thumb:

Wish I could help Bev but everytime I upload a pic from my Ipad its upside down :Rofl1::Rofl1:

another great weekend to thank Bob and Val for, and the others who pitch in to make it a fabulous few days. And thanks to who ever arranged the storm on Friday night, which cleared the rain away for saturday. You see so much more activity in the town when its fine. We broke down on the moors coming, but it was only a fuel filter needed changing. Maybe the tank wants cleaning out after 24 years on the roads. Outfits all looked great, but we think Miss Havisham's decaying wedding outfit was up for a prize, and also Debbies blood bank nurse's outfit was aswell, even if she did frighten a few children with her fangs superglued in, and her blood bag filled with ribena. It was good to meet new faces besides the regulars, and new dogs aswell. Looking forward now to the November one, many thanks again, Steve and Ann.
