Hi Bob,

Can you put Cliff and I on the reserve list please. We stayed in our caravan near Whitby for Easter this year, but unfortunately it was couple of weeks after we had our 15 year old spaniel put to sleep. Loved the area, but should really have cancelled the holiday - just felt rotten. Would love to return in the motorhome in happier circumstances!

Thats a bugger, we are trading at Peterbrough. We will have to wait until the winter Goth weekend.

Hi jezport, this is the April goth meet thread, you said you were at Peterborough in april, you are on the reserve Oct/Nov reserve list (don't worry names will change before then)

Can you take us off the reserve list please. We have decided to go to Devon for Easter and feel its a bit of a hike from there to Whitby for the following weekend.

Hope to meet up with you all at some stage though!

Noticed there is a growing list of members including us who would have liked to attend this weekend so thought I'd mention that we've been in previous years with Motorcaravanners Club and stayed at the West Cliff School where there is room for a further 30 vans. Its very close to the West Cliff with a very nice bar alongside as well as toilets in the adjacent Leisure Centre should the school's facilities not be available. I don't know any contact names there but perhaps other members do:Smile: this is the first rally we would have been able to attend...sniff...sniff:cry:
 
We got barred there a couple of years back because Upmarket Hippy's dog did a giant jobbie on the newly laid astroturf. :Rofl1:

There was one mumsie who witnessed the incident and went straight in to tell the headmistress. :Angry:

So no dogs at Westcliffe school Im afraid :cry:
 
You never know , if you contact the school and guarantee no dogs , they may let you have a rally there. A roll over Whitby goth meet.
It's a good spot , all hard standing , easy walk into town. I bet someone else has snapped it up though.
