What's the best thing you have added to your motorhome?

You mean those old chemists that had the giant bottles of blue stuff in the window and a pestle and mortar on the counter? :giggle:
I'm afraid the old pharmacists such as myself have all retired. When I started around half to a third of all prescriptions needed to be made, written in dog latin in the worst handwriting possible. They were often challenging, but fun. Most were complicated placebos, however they worked.
One place I used to work odd Sundays for extra cash in Brighton even had a stuffed crocodile hanging from the ceiling, you can't get more traditional than that

Silver screen - didn't realise they were a "thing" until reading about them on here, but now wouldn't be without from about -5 here in the UK to +42 in the South of France.

My wife has made a lovely set of window covers/shades for the really hot climes. Made out of foil backed bubble-wrap, backed with material and held on with elastic banding (sewed on). This should help keep the temperature down in the van.

MaxxFan...cools the bedroom down wonderfully and keeps cool overnight, on 12v, even in 40°+,
Solar.....340w
Extra battery plus EcoFlow Delta gives 240v anywhere.
Cab deadlocks plus Hab door in/out deadlock.

Worst thing...daft Clifford alarm which has a tilt/vibration alarm so utterly useless for overnight!! 😱

I think you can switch this off. If you left a pet in the van they would continuously set the alarm off, so Clifford have a setting to stop this. Good luck.

Many things really. Full vanbitz lithium and growler/non starter setup and the hydraulic levelling rams stand out though

We have lots of extras I wouldn't be without including air suspension, hydraulic jacks, solar panels, inverter, etc. However, the two MKM thermostatically controlled electric 12V fan ventilators are more efficient at cooling the air than the air con we had in our previous van. We didn't have an awning fitted on either van and have not felt the need for one. We spend more time on aires in mainland Europe, where awnings aren't allowed, than on UK campsites. If the sun is particularly strong we try to park with the habitation door on the shaded side.

Solar panel
And the hubster wired in led lights in all the cupboards and wardrobe so I can see what I need as soon as I open a door 🫣

Lithiums and the best by far converting from a Dometic RMD 3 way fridge/freezer to a new Dometic RCD compressor model to run constantly on those Lithiums. the difference in power consumption is amazing.

Lot of people mention self levelling. This van came with Goldschmitt self levelling and while it's very convenient it reaches the end of it's travel on very slight slopes. I got much more travel when I put semi air rides on my last van, although only at the rear. Based on that I would go for full air suspension rather than self levelling. If you then need blocks they would go under the wheels, much more stable.

Definitely Solar 1st. Gas low 2nd. Inverter 3rd. Lithium 4th.
And the better half’s favourite is a thermostatic shower mixer tap. No more scalding water and then suddenly freezing because you bumped into it.

Since buying our Swift Kontiki 749 Grand Prix in December, we have added Air Ride Suspension, LPG underslung gas bottle, self levelling suspension, LiPro Lithium 15A battery and a wind generator . We now set for a lot of off grid camping.

Hi, thanks, it isn't the volumetric sensors but unfortunately it is the tilt sensor that doesn't seem to have a setting to turn off. I questioned the fitter and this seems to be to avoid towing theft and lifting the front wheels/low loader theft.
I have previously had Cobra Vodafone ones and preferred those.

Gasslow, rear air suspension, self levelling, extra solar panels and lithium batteries.🙄

i've never once bumped into your wife's shower :giggle:

Efoy fuel cell. Expensive to buy but it keeps my Li battery charged whatever the weather or time of year. I can also park in nice shady spots. More expensive to run than solar but the daily cost is less than the cost an EHU adds to the pitch price.
