You could do what we did. Work out how many luxury lodge and cruise holidays you could have with the money you've invested. For us, £90 k = a no brainer. Just got back from our first cruise - brilliant. That it sits on the driveway most of the time because I'm working and when I'm not it's rubbish weather

This was the resultMany thanks!
And nothing to show for afterwards. Buying the motorhome, will let you have the holidays and something after it with a value. But we all see things differently. You could do what we did. Will have a look thanksget an auto change over - sorted.
We no longer have the T7 and it’s pretty hard to beatLynne Roy Eh? How strange - Our T7 has 3 mains sockets along the kitchen / lounge side under the lockers - each with 2 x usbs next to each. There also a mains and 2 usbs in the bedroom. Both the toilet and shower skylights are permanent vents but also push up to open further and can be tilted to catch the wind to increase flow. And the shower light switch is next to the toilet one in the loo.
No problem, more waving. But now there is 1/4 million of them in the UK it will give you RSI
Our last van had a heated waste water tank. All well and good, but someone - in their infinite wisdom - put the switch at foot level under the table.
Firstly, we kicked it on without realising it, but we also couldn't tell because we couldn't bl∞dy see it! Clever.
What annoys you about your van?
Almost as bad as having one constantly in the garage!! At least you can find a good un!!Not read the 167 posts before this but what annoys me is NOT having one
Me too, it's a Compass (Elddis).Rattles, rattles, rattles, rattles, rattles, rattles.
Ps - I own an Elddis
We had the same issue but on the passenger side of the bed, hubby put some rubber sleeve on the 'pins' and adjusted the catches, no rattle now.The groan/ rattle on drivers side of the pull down bed, doesn’t matter how I pack it, it still there when going over average roads!
We have the usual type vehicle sun blinds built into the underside of the bed which we can adjust as required, this is in addition to the windscreen blind, do you have a drop down bed?No sun blinds as such. The roll down windscreen blind is supposed to take the place of sun blinds. It can be set to only roll down about 12" but that's not low enough.. there doesn't seem to be anywhere to fasten a conventional sunblind.
What do you recommendget an auto change over - sorted.
I think Michael sorted that out on his MarkCreaking wing mirror
Just done 2.5k miles and on the last 250 it was windy and the drivers side mirror is creaking and driving me mad
Will have to have a look at the mounts and see if I can maybe put some rubber in between.
