Try HAFIX professional glue from www.hafix.co.uk I bought it first at the Manchester Caravan and camping show, it will glue anything to anything and last ages.Well 3 days ago I fixed my drivers door seal. Ducato. Foyr inch of bottom end has become unattached from window pillar. I think frozen when I opened the door in the winter.
I used super glue gel as suggested on a fiat site. Dead easy to do but only held for 3 days. Any suggestions on adhesive I also tried gorilla glue without success.
Thanks
Chris
Nice job, just some observations/suggestions:We carry a spare loo cassette which was being stored in a locker, but for the most part it's not being used and taking up locker space, so I have now made a holder for it to be stored under our van and swings down when we need to use it and store the full cassette until we find an emptying point.

Nice job, just some observations/suggestions:
- put a good quality black bin bag on the cassette before putting it underneath otherwise it will get very mucky (I speak from experience of having made a temporary underslung holder many years ago!).
- stick some protective material (eg neoprene, silicone sheet, thin rubber etc) on the internal part of the carrier as this will help to keep the cassette secure and prevent it rattling and getting damaged, maybe also on the edges so that you don't accidentally cut yourself or scratch the cassette getting it in and out, especially when it's full.
- make a protective cushioning pad to go on the top of the cassette before you push it up against the floor so that it can't 'bounce' and be damaged as the tube will be susceptible with it being higher than the rest of the cassette.
- finally make sure you have a way to 'lock' it so no-one nicks it (yes even when 'full' )
I would have fixed air on if I could find the damn fuseWell I would not call it fixed but the cylinder head gasket went on the way back from salt fleet gale
So I followed Wildman’s advice and put sum kseel well blow me apart from all the rusty water stains under the bonnet you wouldn’t think it had happened watt the hell is that stuff probably gummed up the work’s but seem to have worked Frome stemming traction engine to purring petrol will give it would never have believed it if I hadn’t seen it my shelf a good run today to try it out on to eBay
Horn had stopped working and was always feeble, checked it and it was dead.
so fitted these and got proper sound now.
I used both and just linked both horns, fitted extended wire to second horn.I need to do something with my horn (Peugeot boxer) as it’s pretty feeble.
did you fit two of these and can you just use the existing horn wiring or do you need to wire differently?
thanks
Nice one, have you tried lifting it into place when full? I'm wondering if a piece of cord attached to the drop down end which is then threaded through an eyelet above would help you 'hoist' it up as it will be heavy, especially if you have to then try to push what appears to be the securing bar into place.Bullet point one - will be in a bin liner, but it does not make for a good photo.
Bullet point two - all ready on the sides. Does not show up too well in the photo, but 2mm butyl rubber sheet.

Bullet point three - already on the underside of the floor.

Bullet point four - it's up under the van out of sight, so not to worried on that one.

One of ours didn't have a rubber and rattled so I just used two layers of draught proofing stuff, cost £1 ...Replaced skylight rubber, £45 for 5 metre pack, and would you believe it 1/2 meter short
Our new Knaus arrived from Germany minus the black trim. Dealer is sorting it out whilst we awaiting for the DVLA to register the van.Well I would not call it fixed but the cylinder head gasket went on the way back from salt fleet gale
