We've done about 2/3 of the room, it's a kitchen/dining room, what's left is around the kitchen units along with the tiles which we'll do when we rip the kitchen out.

We're going to Appledore tomorrow by the way

Have a good weekend with your daughter (y)

Enjoy Appledore this weekend. Forecast doesn't look too bad, although possible rain on Sunday.

...and loving the new pitch fork... makes life so VERY MUCH easier.

I know, I know... it will be sprayed Sky Blue soon but, at the moment, I make hay whilst the sun shines.

just back from our first weekend away in our new van.

Picked up up Thursday and then went straight to Ravenglass for the weekend the next day, our dogs have absolutely loved it !!

Just back last night from a 3 week, 3 thousand mile trip to Spain, France and Belgium, so did the washing earlier, swept and washed all the downstairs floors as our nipper, who lives in a flat, brought some friends round last weekend and had a BBQ weekend.

Just watched the Spanish GP and about to go out and cut the front grass and the hedge, then maybe have a shower and see if I can do anything with this busted back, I am having to do everything at a 90 degree angle, ricked it last night transferring everything from the van to the car.

Ooooh, and planning the long trip in September, gonna start this one in Holland, then wander further afield from there.

Can't wait.

We were at a football tournament with the wee man.
One very proud grand even though thay lost he worked so hard

We are off down to Hartford C&CC on Monday then to tunnel Tuesday and into France for 7 weeks. We use Asci sites, hopefully walking distances t o villages/ towns any suggestions greatly appreciated
Intend doing La Rochelle around to le Harve last few weeks so where beforehand?

Off to my Sister's who lives just out side of Newbury, so will take opportunity to go to the Show to monopolise @eddievanbitz time with some more tech / toys questions and also to deprive him of his drinking chocolate - and Rum if Jane will drive back. Also need to check out drive away awnings / shelters and windbreaks.

Spent the weekend just gone kitting out the camper van. Now to plan a weekend away to try our Camper out. Bit of a shock this morning, all the water had vanished from our van. I was informed if the temperature drops below 5 C it automatically dumps all the water out of the system to prevent the pipes from freezing.

Not 100% sure, but I think it only dumps the water in the boiler not the entire system.

We're spending the weekend with Bill and Judy McAlpine (Lord and Lady McAlpine to you lot) for a steam rally at their Fawley Hill estate near Henley.
Stef.
