That four letter word W**K, 5 days of it that will be 9 days of it this year, so much for retirement.
It is in sunny Bournemouth and all out of hours so loads of money.:)

Me too Sunday Monday 22nd 23rd nights
Invoice 39hrs for two shifts (y)

We are off to The Cock, a pub in Broom, near Biggleswade.

Cheers,

Jock. :)
There right now, and already had a pint of Tring's Catstail. Beer served direct from the cellar rather than from the bar. :)

Cheers, :drink:

Jock.

Now at Beechwood Grange, this has got to be the DARKEST site we can recall
Lovely welcoming wardens are allocating pitches due to the dark & weather. Was considerate enough to give me one with view of Astra (y) Don't want to miss Strictly

Going over to the storage site to put the steadies down, remove storage cover, put the cover somewhere that it won't blow away, roll back the unit cover, remove the cross bar sections, open up both bed ends, lock them in place, unwrap the sides of the canvas, push up the support bars, tuck in the canvas sides, build the washroom, cooker top and sink unit, remove all the stuff stored on the seats into the car in order to "Winter" the Folding Camper and empty it of all personal items that we will keep after hopefully selling said unit soon. Then, replace the stuff onto the seats, stow the sink, cooker top and wash room, un tuck the canvas sides, let down the support bars, fold canvas back into the centre, unlock the bed ends, fold in the bed ends, refit cross bar sections, refit the unit cover, find storage cover that did actually blow away, cover unit, raise steady legs. - Before it rains again. I wonder sometimes why I bought a MH - Roll on 12 Dec:clap:

I'm sat waiting patiently for the arrival of our 4th grandchild that should have been with us yesterday, then we can leave for Spain next Saturday

We are also waiting patiently for our grandson (y)
The difference our Harry is 1 year old and in Thailand:crying:
The good news is Harry and our daughter in law are coming to live with us until our son finds a house.
They are arriving on Sunday :party2: we can't wait:clap2::clap2::clap2:

Off to Yorkshire for my dad's for a week & take him out for a meal on his birthday (87th I think).
Sadly not by MH but I do also enjoy travelling by train, especially the bit along the south coast - assuming the rain doesn't close the line again at Dawlish & Exeter!

dawlish ..... has changed soo much
But it's till the loveliest bit of train journey in the world!!! (not that I've travelled on a train anywhere except the UK...)

Amersham Sun -Monday , preping the MH up for a trip to Belgium next week

We are off to France. Another hour at work, then finish packing tonight, leisurely drive down to Newhaven tomorrow and catch the 10 oclock ferry Sunday morning to Dieppe, then turn right.
Hi I live in Newcastle Staffs so safe trip :)

Just walked the length of the becks in our fields to make sure that they and all the culverts are clear to cope with the 8" of rain forecast for the next 36 hours, Got wet feet and when I dried them off there was some strange web like growth between my toes.!!:):)

Came home early from Chatsworth! The Christmas market has been closed tomorrow because of the expected high winds . Did get some things.... Lovely cheese and beer and assorted goodies for family! The gluwiene (?) and hog roast sandwiches were delicious and put me in a Christmassy mood.

Cotswold wedding of a lad we've known for almost 20 years. Beautiful ceremony in his village church, we served mulled wine and hot chocolate afterwards, now off to the knees up.

Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Neale.

I know it's a rubbish photo, but this was his first peak at his beautiful bride, I couldn't focus through my tears!
Pic of them together later...

Just finished rewiring the ecu on the car that decided to set itself on fire yesterday.(y)Unfortunately it didn't catch hold although I gave it long enough.
All caused by an iffy connection on one pin of a plug !
Amazing how it takes 5 hours to get the loom out from under the bonnet to inside the car yet you can refit it all in an hour & ten minutes ?
So that meant the electric window install on the MH came to a halt with only one done :( & it won't get finished tomorrow as I have to help a friend find his incoming water pipes. That has all the recipes of a disaster. :(

As promised, but my photography skills are now hampered by my intake of gin..

Yes. Shame it was cancelled for Sunday but the way the wind and rain performed sat night it was a good decision. We too stocked up on cheese, sausage etc.
We had to sit near the beer tent Saturday afternoon whilst it rained ;);)
New wardens at chatsworth and they were having a few problems with people not parking correct to white/blue/red peg.
Still enjoyed it though

Went to longleat festival of light.
very good despite weather.
