What are you up to this weekend?

Were thinking about going away but the forecast isn't good so have decided to stay home.

Draining the van... there is something so final about opening all the drains, although it really only takes a few minutes to refill. Taking everything that could suffer from being left in the cold out. Cleaning the sand and detritus that accumulated on our travels and finally putting an airline to blow out any residual water that could freeze during the coming months.
Now we can only look at the van and wait for the new season, I hate to see it just sitting there. Alan

trolling thru ebay and various sites still looking for that elusive mh for my big adventure,,im getting carpol tunnel from typing and clicking !!

Off to cardiff, staying on a site with some other Funsters...meals out and a huge fireworks display to watch, sparklers, mulled wine and gin...happy days.

Off to Hertford C&CC site Fri/Sat for our first time without hardstanding or hookup, will Take the hymer if she is out of the hospital, if not will take the Tardis.

No solar on the Tardis, just one 100amp leisure battery so the Boss Lady may have to forego Strictly on Sat night. ::bigsmile:

This is also true - I was a secretary with Commercial Union insurance in the 70s and there was a netball league of all the local insurance companies. (I was goal attack in our Netball Team). Cliff was banned from cheering us on, When we played against the Pearl Assurance Netball Team...... (Think about it....!)

Well the gang is all here. Phil has brought enough food to feed a small army. Cliff and Ger have a van down at the back because of the booze on board. Mousy has just arrived complete with Martin and Harry her youngest. We're just waiting on Two more then we're off for a meal. Warm but very damp Cardiff, fire works going off all around us.
Griff reporting from deepest Welsh Wales where it is bloody raining again.
