What are you up to this weekend?

Tidying and cleaning house as family visitors from Spain and Devon staying . We are celebrating MIL s 90 th birthday! She will meet her new great-granddaughter for the first time!( thank goodness we can escape to the MH for peace and quiet!)
 
Going to somers wood site at meriden Friday, then to nec bike show german market and a balti on Saturday, not been in our van for 5 weeks so the excitement is all too much!!
 
Home this weekend. Son & DIL coming for tea on Friday, then Christmas dinner with our friend & neighbour and her sons on Sunday. :D
 
Off to Crystal palace camp site for 3 nights with a Brit stop on the way down.
O2 Thursday rival sons and deep purple, show Friday (the kinks one) then a meal on Saturday in our favourite restaraunt over looking tower bridge. Never used the Crystal palace camp site before but they reckon it's good for London visits.......
Then there will be no money left for Christmas boo...

My son is due over in a couple of weeks so thought I would decorate his bedroom just to freshen it up.....

Currently at camping memling in Bruges. The weathers a bit poo to say the least.
 
Off to a wedding on Saturday so not getting away this weekend.

Off to France the following weekend until New Year, hurray!

Not sure yet but we are going somewhere Friday to Monday. Ralph's looking , at places we'd like . It'll be within 2 hours away.
He spent last Saturday fitting some gadget to Pug . Something to do with voltage .

Bath marina to visit bath hope weather is better.and looking forward to some mulled wine.
 
unexpected free weekend sooooooooo .................................. off to Chatsworth for three nights , tour of the house and then Crimbo dinner in the restaurant ( friday ) , rainy day ( Saturday ) , cycling Sunday ( rain free day ) , home Monday. Love that area !

Rowntree park York this Friday and Saturday ( if the Ouse behaves....)
For food and beer (I mean shopping with the wife;) )
Plan of attack is shops for mid morning, pub lunch..... Couple bottles of proseco, more pubs, walk round York to more pubs. Back to the van via a curry house.

My job is then done :) :)

Similar to our plan but ours is in brum, bike show, beer at german market, beer at scruffy murfeys, then a lovely balti in ladypool road which is superior to any curry in England!(y)

Superior curry. You're not drinking enough beer if you can tell if it's a good one.....
Get some taddy lager down ya.

Well I could have said that but motorhomers are supposed to be posh ha ha, would be good to meet up as my wife is from York, we even spent our honeymoon there. no better place for a choice of pubs, our fav is the royal oak and golden slipper. cheers steve and nade.:LOL:

spoons are s***e wherever they are, not been to golden fleece, but been to thomases before it became guy fawkes, spend lots of time in the nrm, we spent our honeymoon at the plough at fulford road which is a nice place with good beer and food.:)

Can you overnight in York ? or do you stay at site.
 
Stay on site, but have B and B it earlier this year.
 
The swan and the slip inn are very handy for site on way back after all the days pub crawl! Use back gate to have a late curry at Rowntree !

We are stopping at fulford caravan park on the 18/12, do might give the plough a try. The lighthorseman looks ok aswell. :)
