No need to book at all. If you search using event keyword Blackpool on the Out and About page its the first listed, hosted by BCC Ribblesdale Section. Details also on their own web site Broken Link Removed.
The main web site gives the impression that it opens at 10am on Friday but their own says noon so we will be aiming for that.

Is there easy access by bus to the centre as the wife has a bad back and can't walk too far ? Thinking of going here if access is ok.

Yes, there are bus stops right outside to Blackpool centre and to St Annes/Lytham. We've been there twice before and found getting around very easy. I've not checked recently what time the buses stop in the evening but I don't think a taxi would cost all that much for getting back.

I've just checked and there is currently a problem with the Blackpool Transport web site. However, I did manage to access the Broken Link Removed. The stop by the cricket club is Borough Boundary. Hope this helps.
